IF it's thin walled it will crack. Even the greddy and HK$ ones crack too.

http://www.3rdgearvtec.net/And...a.JPG The manifold on the right is a Greddy manifold or was it HKS, what ever it was made for a GTiR. It cracked at the collector.

That's a OBX Manifold not a SSA. onefastrb26 : F#@k what everyone thinks and either prove them wrong or right. From what I've seen, you have a 50% chance of getting a good deal or getting Crap.

I am getting it, and I will be running a GT42 turbo. I just did a compression and leakdown test on my engine. Compression is 160 all across, leakdown is 9-10%. So it is all good. I will just tune it safely for 20psi on pump gas, and hopefully I can get 500-550rwhp. I have 1000cc injectors, Greddy manifold, HKS fuel rail, twin Walbro pumps ( to be installed), and PowerFC Djetro. I am saving money for some JUN 288 cams, springs, retainers, Greddy headgasket, Carillo rods, and JE pistons

I would have to agree that even HKS manifolds crack, I was told at one time to take an HKS manifold and have it copied in Inconnel with about a 3mm wall thickness.

I intend to do this sometime in the future but for now I have a close to brand new HKS manifold set so, I will have the Incon one made BEFORE I put this set up into the car, then when the HKS goes, I will install the Incon one right away, but I expect to get some longevity out of my HKS manifolds because they are sturdy, thick and have a quality design with quality craftsmanship.

Inconnel is pretty expensive! that manifold would cost a lot more than a new HK$ unit.... prob could buy 3 of them. Good stuff tho that thing will take the heat and not even blink and eye.
