Befor anyone gets up set at this post i just want to make sure i have every thing in order. 1. rb25det clip from jdm-online -- 2.mckinney mounts and drive shaft (drive shaft not ordered yet)--- 3. wire harnness sent out to wiring specialities (didn't want any problems with that)----4. engine was refreshed with oem water pump, front @rear seals oil pump etc. know my only hang up is the down pipe i search it (yes i used the search) and found out that if i used mckinnys mounts it should clear. I need an answer to this guys. And why would i want to use the greddy manifold instead of the oem manifold, look guys if im missing any thing please help me out unlike others i have in motion right know, so any help would be great. will post pics soon

hay rbmonstor look i haved search and search but all i need is a straight forward answer mainly about the down pipe but you have an rb26 to my rb25 with out grinding the colum were can i pick up an after market down pipe and can you answer my question about the mainfold. The guy over at wiring specialties told me that it's up to my about that it only moves the throttle body closer if i heard him right agin i just want to make sure cause the harness is packed and ready to be ship out. oh yeah my platform is an 1995 240 ps ur car is awsome

the greddy mani makes ic plumbing shorter and also simpler. flow capabilities aside, this is the biggest advantage imho. also, 99% exhaust parts on any motor swap arent a bolt in affair, ie custom. but if you have seen the dp fit with mckinney mounts, then maybe call mckinney motorsports themselves and ask what they reccomend. they might even have something thatll work good luck!

i got the greddy IM because my stock IM was damaged during shipping. cost to repair vs cost to upgrade wasnt significant enough for me to have it repaired. keep in mind with it i believe you need an adapter plate to use your stock throttle body. or the Q45 TB is a direct fit.

upgrading clutch at all?

yo man thanks but were can i get this q45 thorttle body from and would i have to make any changes to my harness- also the clutch is last on my mind but yes im going for a nice up grade. Do you have any info on my down pipe problem using my mckinney mounts will it clear or do i need a replacement.

i got my Q45 TB off this site actually. in the infiniti parts marketplace section. a guy was parting his car.

as far as the DP goes, mckinney sells one that fits along with their mounts. i had the shop make mine. its all tacked up, just needs to be welded. as far as i know, the stock one wont line up. im not 100% on that though.

for the clutch, i got an RPS 6 puck for a 300zx na. its a sprung hub, so it shouldnt be too terrible to drive. but it is rated to 520lb ft.

speedo/tachometer. have something to compensate for it reading incorrectly?? i sent out my gauge cluster to ls auto. they recalibrated the tach for me. i didnt want my speedo in KPH using an R33 cluster. if you dont want to send it out, or use the skyline cluster (its not a perfect fit), search for dakota digital i believe it is.

hay lucky 7 just wondering cause im having trouble finding an q45 tb i was looking at kamin's 240 engine bay and he's running an stock tb set up. Is this just the case of extending the harness to reach over to the stock tb because i not up grading my turbo yet and in from my SEARCHING it's only recomended going for the q45 tb if your up grading ur turbo for more power. ps do you have any photos u can send me of ur engine bay [email protected]

im not sure if its the wiring that doesnt reach, or its just that the stock TB is too small to bolt up.

lucky 7 wow thats sick btw if ur car is an 97 which has an obd2 how are you going to handle emissions. 2nd are you running a stock turbo. 3rd what mounts are u using plus is ur down pipe stock or what, 4th where can i find that greedy intake manifold and what kind of fmic is that. Ps jsut wanted to say thanks for answering my questions. I'll post some pics of mine soon as i find my camera .

it is a 97. in michigan, there are NO emissions. hehe. stock turbo, for now. mckinney mounts and driveshaft. custom 3" downpipe. greddy IM i ordered through the shop my car is at. but you can find it here:http://phase2motorsports.store....htmlfmic is a greddy VSPL. i also got the S14 Sr piping kit so some of the piping fits. although it still needs to be modified. dont bother with the piping kit if you use the stock intake manifold. again, good luck. post some pics when you get a camera.

custom DP meaning, a fabricator made me a DP from scratch. using an APEXi power FC for engine management.

lucky 7 do ou have any info on the q 45 throttle body ur running ie what's the year of the car it came off of or is there a certain year im looking for oin other words

i think mine is off a 92 or 93 car. i dont know if there were any major changes, and especially if the TB will/wont work from certain years.
