Well the reason for differences in percent of actual ethanol in E85 varies from state to state is because of the different climates. In cold weather ethanol wont kick off easily so the extra regular gas in the mix actually helps it kick off. Now as far a E98 let me know where they sell that id like to try it out. I definitly feel you on the actual number labeling situation.

Typically they only sell E98 at the actual ethanol plants. Its sold in 55 gallon drums, and typically to only licensed (to buy gas) personnel. I do know people that have purchased it, but none locally.

E98 - I've heard from someone in Long Island.

"you get it out in suffolk. like exit 35 on the southern state parkway"
