I tried a napa slave cylinder, I had to drill the holes out so large that when I was bleeding the clutch one of the holes broke because there was so little material left around it. So I wouldn't recommend going that route. I bought a new one from West Covina Nissan..

The OEM ones don't last very long with strong pressure plates, as has been said a few times in the threads above.

Yeah, just curious how everyone is liking their NISMO Slave cylinder if they ordered one of those instead?

I considered getting the cheap $16 one but no parts stores around here had one in stock, so since I had to order one anyway I just over-nighted a Nismo one for $58 and am waiting for it to arrive so I can install.

I've been using the napa slave for over a year now with no problems whatsoever.

I used this slave about a year and a half ago and about four months ago it snapped in half. the mounting bolt holes cracked in half. ill try to find it and post some pictures i rebuilt the stock one and its holding up amazing so far.

Is anyone currently using this Centric slave? Or has in the past?

I would like to know where the mounting ears break after they are drilled out. I am guessing the left side of the right ear. Is so, i might weld a small chunk of steel between the ears that should prevent this.

I know this thread is ancient but i installed the slave cylinder the OP found today.. And it works with the mods mentioned, i also used a couple washers in between the slave and transmission to space it out a hair, seems to line up better with the fork this way.

Also this is the bigger diameter slave cylinder, i have a Competition clutch twin disk, and its real finicky to drive, its always bothered me..

The bigger diameter slave allows a lighter pedal and more modulation in the pedal, its not so "on-off" anyways for any one with a grabby clutch or a stiff pedal id recommend doing this, im amazed at the difference..

And thanks to the OP i ordered one of the Nismo units and then found this thread, needless to say i canceled my 160 dollar order and went to the parts store and got my 17 dollar slave..

Nice! Let me know how it holds up. I have the same clutch set that I'll be using. Also bought this set, it should fit but haven't test fitted.

Ya I don't see any reason it shouldn't fit

All the parts are OEM except for the pivot ball, I went with the upgraded chromoly version. My concern was that the z32/z33 parts wouldn't fit the RB but Google tells it should work.

Did that clutch fork upgrade work on the RB25 transmission?

Everything lined up and bolted on, I have not run the engine yet but all the dimensions appeared to be correct.

cool, Thanks for the picture and response. Did you use a short or long pivot ball?

Ive ordered it as im gonna swap to the R34 Neo RB25 trans.. another "insert spring" popped out of my current RB25 trans.. i'm done with that crap.. R34 trannies are much better!

You need to use the shorter pivot (that pairs with the 04+ fork), like pictured in the Zspeed/Z1 links above, because the thickness of the cast fork compared to the stamped one.
