DONT DO IT. Your better off with a CA18det. RB20s are a waste, and RB in S13 chasis is a pain that will cost more then just the 1100 for the motor set.

On another note your gonna need things such as a clutch, timing belt, and your gonna want to inspect and replace anything that seems to be a problem with the motor out.

Research your swap homie, its been covered. Thats my $0.02

CA's better than RB's.. pssshhh.

I guess it depends on what your doing with the car..

edlugz:$1100 is a nice price for a full RB20 5spd motorset. Make sure you trust the seller! Don't buy an ebay motor for that.. call our sponsors (JHOT ask for Gabe).

as for your questions on what's needed.. zerothread/185294

Check out the rest of the stickies in the RB forum for more info.

the only other things that i can think on off the top of my head is you will need either a motor mount kit or a r32 crossmember if you do the rb20.

Hey if i ever did a swap it would be the rb20. For a daily driver you might be better off with the ca18.

Never Said Better........ Harder to swap, plus whats 2 extra cylinders if they only add like 20hpAlthough an rb25 sounds sexy in my hatch
