My bro ran a 12.8 @ 106 on some slicks (1.7 60') w/ a clutch type lsd, GT2510 at ~14 lbs (EBC), and GTR fuel pump, and one of those SLIGHTLY tuned blitz ECU's everything else is stock AFAIK.

and that 12 second slip is no way in hell related to a nearly stock RB20 haha. just because you guys are running the same boost dosent mean they are close to the same times. he has a better turbo, better tune and slicks. the slicks alone are worth half a second minimum.

s13's are 2500-2700lb range.

I think I could have cracked a 12 second time slip with the mods I had before I took the motor out of the S13. I hate not having a 1/4 mile track thats open every weekend. Once a month and 2 to 3 chances suck.

13.1 at 110mph at gainesville raceways this past friday. bad 60' way too big of a turbo and the lag is kiling me on the launch.. regular street tires with like 29psi on them. I'll post all the time slips shortly.

Whats your setup right now? I can't rem what you had on your 20. I'm checking out how to get it to work on the skylines, Someone on the downunder boards told me you need a tach adapter on them because the Nissan uses a ground for the trigger and the MSD use postive power.

Then I hope you either A) have an aftermarket turbo and neglected to mention it or B) live somewhere where it's really, really, really cold, because otherwise, you're just begging to blow something up running at 14 psi.

And if people could specify whether they have an RB20/25(or even 26?), that would make things more clear, as well.

The Thread says RB20 1/4 mile times. So one would hope that if your posting your 1/4 mile time it would mean you have a RB20.

what are you having done to the block, the standard rb20 is a very durable engine........ please dont say 2.4, you have no idea..........

Where did my cylinder wall go?

If you'r thinking about boreing, I think TOMEI makes a kit for 2.2, the biggest I've seen anyone run safely.

Back on topic, 12's with minimal engine work! Nice to see. Biggest advantages I noticed were slicks and clutch-type LSD. How's the spool on that HKS turbo?

max you can bore the motor safely is 82mm, which with the stock rods and crank yeilds a 2.2, however a 2.4 is a stroker motor and requires mods to the block and a rb26 crank and rods.

12's are not too far out of a rb20's reach, even a rb25 turbo will put an s chassis with a rb20 into the 12's.main thing to keep in mind that most ppl with swaped cars dont have an lsd and that makes all the diffrence.

i heard about your accident Carl..

i will be boring the cylinders out to 82mm and finding some sort of aftermarket forged 82mm pistons with beefier rods and installing them.

A 2.4 is achievable though. just gotta have a machine shop, so ive been told. id love to hear some more insight into the whole RB2.4 idea though.
