Rb20 front clip ?

I bought my motor off a local guy who got it from Venus. Lo an behold NOBODY did a compression or leakdown test on it, until I did one months later when it was in the garage. Turns out cyl #3 leaks horribly from one of the exhaust ports, so now I have to send the head out for machine work. The machine work to fix the head will cost nearly what I paid for the motorset.....

Venus seems to have a good collection of miscellaneous parts though, and others do get good motors from them. Those people probably aren't passionate enough about it to come post their good experiences tho, it's just us who've been d!ck around that feel like complaining

I got my clip from venus and I guess I'm just one of those lucky guys. It was in extremely good shape. They did send me a bad ga16 once but, I called Ronald and a few pictures later it was taken care of. I'll buy from them again but, I ask for the compression and leak down results before I buy. And I have no idea how you could get a wrong part from them. They send me pictures and have me pick out the part any time I buy something. Not saying they've never screwed anybody but, from a buisness owners standpoint I could see how they have to make judgement calls. All it makes is a minute or less of running an engine that hasn't been prepped right to ruin it.

Just a reminder for you be careful on the wording of front clip, I ordered a "front clip" It did not have the motor,transmission,wire harness,ecu. So you need to make sure you spesafie whats in the clip!!!!!!!!

It really depends. Usually a clip comes with everything but its YOU that have to verify. So if you ordered a clip and it had stuff missing. Your fault.
