Got some made up. They fit on RB20, 25, and 26 andmade out of SUS32 1 2.8mm. It has the 50mm HKSwastegate flanges. The ones of ebay will work fine aslong as they seal properly. The primary pipes are 42mm.

The tube go through the flange and welded on both sides.

What do ya'll think. Any comments welcome.

These are just xo2racing ebay manifolds are they not? Same design minus the header flange on yours is universal rather then strickly rb20/25 or 26 flange.

How much are you selling these for?

Don't know xo2. I am here in Japan. And no I have not put them on ebay. These are sold on Yahoo auction. Now to be honest we used these on many RB swawps in to S-chassis and 180's ect.. but they were RHD. If anybody is intrested and is needing a top mount I would sell one for $400 to see if it fits on LHD. If not then send it back for refund. But normal price is $500.

These are the same xo2racing ones that are on ebay. You must have got it from China correct?

xo2racing is selling them for $225 on ebay right now. Here is theirs:

you say you would hook someone up for a test fitment, but I just looked on yahoo auction and they are only selling for $390, so that is not much of a hookup. You might want to decrease the pricing to compete with theirs or I can't see this product selling that well.

What is the thickness between the hole and the outside of the turbo flange? Do you have a shot inside the runners?

The xo2 flanges are nikel covered cast pot metal. S-Tec manifolds are machined sus 400 that have been nikel plated. After welding IN A JIG not in a vice, All flanges have been re machined flat to make sure they will not leak. XO2 pipes do not go though the flange. This is a much cheaper way to do it, because you dont even have to bend the pipes right to make them fit. Most manifolds like this are made in a garage with a hydrolic bender. To prove that ask them the wall thickness of the pipe, i bet you it is 1.5-1.8, and anything thicker you need a real machine to bend. This causes all the weight of the turbo and wastegate to hang off of the weld causing it to crack the pipe.

Now that being said, there is nothing wrong with a real sus321 1.5mm manifold, if it is real 321. The bigest problem with a manifold this thin is support, If you support the weight on a 321 1.5mm it will last a hell of a long time. I see no such supports on his manifold. Mine needs none, if it needed them, or i ever heard of one of mine crackinig, it would have them.

Further more we ported the pipe after welding as close as we could to match a 25 head, but still have it seal properly on a 26. Being that the material we use is sus 321 2.8mm there is still alot more room for porting/gasket matching. By all means grind away. Again they FIT RB20, 25, and26.

I will post up more pics of the inside.

I don't think you understood my question... what is the thickness of the material left after you drill the holes at the top the flange in your 3rd picture. The thickness of the metal between the hole and the outside of the flange looks very thin. Could you take a picture with a scale next to it to show the measurement?

It so happens that I dont have the camera right now. But I see what your saying and I measured it. The thinnest was 3mm. May think thats not enouph metal but then again the flange is 12mm thick sus 400 and its not cast. Been doing this for years, not one cracked.

The design is more like the HKS rb26 design. The runners have been moved to clear the engine mounts for a 25/20, the wastegate pipe is two 42mm pipes going into a 50mm primary tube. Most the other ebay crap is 42mm tube going to a 38/50mm makeing the 50mm wastegate useless. This is a full 50mm at the flange also. We spoolled a tor4 with a P-trim 84 a/r cutback with a divided housing, full boost at 4700rpm boosting 1.8bar on a stock RB25 with a 1.2 mm head gasket, producing over 600hp. They work well. All piping on the manifold is mandrel 321, including the collector and wastegate tube. You can wrap them and still wont crack.

would that wastegate pipe clear a lhd steering column? I've worked with some taiwan/china manifolds and everytime i've cut and rewelded the wastegate dump towards the front of the car, where the ac compressor would be. plenty of clearance for the wastegate and dump pipe...

If the HKS T04R one fits, then these should fit. There the same design but with larger wastegate pipes.

I know i probably should do some searching but this is pretty muchmy question for now. With this manifold, and since its a top mount, would you have to change the oil/coolant lines to the turbo? I'm doing research now and i'm stuck on oil/coolant lines, wastegate, turbocharger, and intercooler piping.

I think in order to fit in a LHD car, we'd need to relocate the wastegate to the other side, just like in the cheaper non twin scroll ebay manifolds.

This manifold looks quality, and even sounds quality if it really is 2.8mm thick. Its worth a try for $500.

Hopefully you'll still be selling these when I'm looking to upgrade manifolds

I've seen these things, and they are that thick. Heavy as ****. I'm thinking about putting one on my R32 with a HX52 and selling my HKS log style manifold and HX35/40. Just need to find a good cheap'ish wastegate.

Yes they are 2.8mm thick. I think the wastegate has to be moved b/c of the steering colum. These are not cheap ebay manifold. Infact they have nothing to do with ebay. They are the same design as the HKS but made better. The runners for 5 and 6 are moved slightly to fit the 20 and 25. All piping on the manifold is mandrel 321 including the collector and wastegate tube, it wont crack. You can wrap them and still wont crack. I am intrested to see how the fit on the LHD. If you are intrested I would sell one to you when you are ready for 400 bucks I pay shipping to see how it fits. If you don't like for any reason or doesn't fit LHD send it back for full refund. Thanks

Hello everyone,I am the owner of S-tec Motorsports Japan. I had these manifolds made and designed them as well. Most of it was done using cad between makers. To the people that love to talk bad about chinese products, you must really hate companies like tomei, and trust, because most of their products are made in the same factories as mine. You think HKS is made in Japan??? ahh try again thailand would be closer

In other words, it does not matter what country it is made in it matters what it is made of. I stopped using 304/301 in manifolds a few years ago, because no matter how thick you made it, it would still at some point and temp crack. I offer warranties with my manifolds here in japan, although I have never had to warranty one for a crack, after we switched to all 321. I have been in this buisness many years, and take pride in what i do. I try to make stuff that makes sense and works well. If something has a problem I have no problem killing a product.

I believe in Japan, I do outsell tomei, hks, and trust together, in most of my manifold sales. Most distributors in Japan buy from me, well at least the big 3. Planhim, Carro, and kyoho.

These products were never ment to be brought to the US. I personally do not care if they fit a LHD car. There is so much junk on EBAY I lost interest in the American Buisness long ago. I believe the wastegate will need to be modified with these manifolds to fit LHD cars. They were not designed for your cars at all. They will fit the engine, up to a T-88 with a 17cm with no problem, besides the wastegate. If you want to go bigger than that, you can go as big as you want, if you go with the nismo valve covers. I am bolting on a HX-52 on mine, after welding on a new flange and some blending.

Will, <fearsometea> can ship them cheaper than i can, so i sugest you go though him, he is my customer, and my close personal friend. Modifying these manifolds wastegate pipes is fairly easy. The 2 smaller pipes are made of 321 43mm 2.8. anyone with a tig that is blind can pretty much weld it. It melts at high temp, and doent make holes.

I would not add extra pipe to it though, it is hard to find real 321 in the first place, and if you do, more than likey you will find cast, in my mind cast 321 is junk, and I will not let my manufactors, no matter how much they complain use it.

If you have any questions please contact fearsometea. He will ask me before he answers, as I do not have so much time on forums. I saw the request for pictures in the runners, if he does not post some by tomarrow, I will, sorry for his delay. Stec

Cool and welcome.

If I didn't buy a Apexi manifold I would def. jump on this. For now I will use the Apexi.

Here is the view requestedThis is a view up one its runners, the pipe is put all the way though the flange. This distributes the weight of the manifold/wastegate/turbo, on a 2.8mm solid pipe to flange. It more than triples the strength of the manifold. Most people/companies that sell inexpensive manifolds, or even some that do sell expensive manifolds, do not do this, and it is costly, and very time consuming. Doing it the cheaper/easier way put the weight on the welds rather than a solid pipe. This is where alot of people have problems with manifolds cracking, even though it is not even close to the hotest spot on the manifold. It is more welding, filling, and machining to make pipe though design. The flanges we use are cut from 12mm thick plate stainless steel. Not cast, although i have in the past been impressed with casts ability to stay flat using a thinner flange. I was not impressed with the cracks that can be caused with it after mixed in by welding. I went to 12mm, never had another bent flange, or a complaint about one. It worked pretty well, as it ended up being the same thickness as stock. This manifold is pretty much gasket matched, There are 2 pirmarys, that have about 3mm blockage, to make it seal right on a 26. This is 2.8mm pipe, I would break out the drimel and grind that away for you 20/25 guys.We added the braces on the primarys, because japanese people like them, on a 321 2.8mm thick tube they are really pointless, as it is going no where. We use 2.8 because people have been so afraid of chinese products, because all of the junk sold on ebay. A 2.0mm 321 manfiold when made properly will last a long damn time. 2.8mm 321 if you hit your exhaust hard enough, I think you would rip the head off before the manifold gave out. This is a look up the wastegate tube. The larger tube after they come together is 52mm. It is the closest I could find to give people full advantage of a 50mm wastegate, although I would still like to have the extra 4mm, I think it is going to have to do, as 60mm pipe caused problems putting a 50mm flange on it.You can get more power and better spooling by running 2 wastegates on this manifold, when used with a duel scroll turbine. This manifold is completely devided except for where the wastegate tubes come together. Since your going to have to cut them anyways to fit your LHD cars, I would run 2 smaller 38mm.

90% sure this won't work in LHD with where the wastegate sits... edit: i see he mentioned it above. it will bolt up but you probably cant put the wastegate on it. the wastegate tubes either need to be extended to go around or shortened a lot. downpipe should still fit fine.
