Nice finally what I have been waiting for!! at a low price too!!! anyways onto the questions...

1. Does the mount kit 20/25 allow the use of a front strut tower bar with the stock manifold?

2. Can the stock Downpipe still be used?

3. what is the approximate distance between the radiator support and the motor assuming the clutch fan is removed?(I would like an idea if utilizing an aftermarket radiator and a puller fan would be possible...)

4. What are the mounts made of?

I will definetely look into the kit for the RB26.

I have one question though..

I'm not a matalurgist (sp), but are the metal looks a tad thin. I've noticed this on other kits too. I mean I am going to race the **** out of my car when I am finished with it, and I don't want to take any chances of busting something with 700hp and drag slicks. Do you have any input on the amount of torque and power these things will hold up to? I've always wondered about this with custom mount kits these days..

They definetely look good though man! Nice work.

The mounts put the engine 2.5 inches from the radiator and will let you use a strut bar with factory upper manifold but it will need to be one with a very mild arch. As far as the metal being thin, its the same thickness Nissan uses on all stock mounts but it has alittle more reinforcment behind it. Warranty is simple. We will take care of any problems. Core Performance Products,Top Hat Performance and Night7 Racing will only sell the best and always stand behind what we sell. All web sites will be updated over the next 30 days with custom intakes, mount kits and other Core products. Thank You, Mike http://www.tophatperformance.com

HEY MIKE..... DO YOU KNOW WHEN CAM WILL SEE HIS SHIPMENT?

ALSO IT PUTS THE ENGINE 2.5INCHES FROM THE RADIATOR? THAT MEANS ITS GOING TO PUSH MY ENGINE FORWARD 1" AND PUT MY SHIFTER IN THE STEREO POCKET...... IF THIS IS THE CASE I'M NOT GOING TO BUY THESE, AS THE WHOLE PURPOSE OF THEM WAS TO FIT A FAN AS A PULLER AND MOVE THE SHIFTER TO THE STOCK LOCATION.

JUST TO LET YOU KNOW I'M MEASUREING FROMT HE CLOSEST POINT ON MY ENGINE (BESIDES THE HARMONIC BALANCER) WHICH IS THE ALTERNATOR PULLEY. IT IS 3.5" FROM THE RADIATOR I WANT ANOTHER .5" - 1" OF CLEARANCE..... NOW IF YOU ARE MEASURING FROM THE HARMONIC BALANCER THAT WOULD BE PLENTY OF ROOM.

You've got 3.5" in there???? My PermaCool would've fit as a puller if there was that much room in mine. I have an S14, but I didn't think they were that much different. At the alternator, I might have 2".

I HAVE ROUGHLY 3.5" FROM THE ALT PULLY TO THE 1 CORE RADIATOR. MY PERMACOOL 14" IS 3 3/4" DEEP SO IT JUST BARELY DOESN'T FIT AT ITS DEEPEST POINT.

Its 2.5 from the crank pulley. A correction from what Cameron said. They are steel, not stainless steel. Camerons mounts are being powder coated today and will be shipped tommorow.Cameron, im sorry for the delays. The position of the engine with these mounts is the best that can be acheived ,hands down. Notice we remade the upper mount for the engine.By doing this it gave us more adjustment and that is the key to the whole thing. We cleared the firewall, sway bar and your able to get a strut bar on the car. Most other mounts on the market are very good mounts.(ie Mckinney) We just think ours have went the extra step.VERY IMPORTANT. I hear alot of people slamming new products and companies on this Forum(reason you dont hear from me much here) If small American companies didnt start trying to build new products, even the bad products, most of you would not have the bad *** cars you do now cause you couldnt afford them. PLEASE SUPPORT SMALL BUISNESS.

OK SO IF ITS 2.5" FROM THE HARMONIC BALANCER ITS ABOUT 4.5" - 5" FROM THE ALTERNATOR PULLEY (DAMN THATS ALOT OF CLEARANCE). I'M NOT BASHING YOUR PRODUCT I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE IT WAS GOING TO DO WHAT I NEEDED IT TO DO. I ALSO PLAN ON GETTING YOUR FLYWHEEL ONCE I START DOING THE SHIFTING UPGRADES.

NightXCZ77- On your website you mention having to "accomodate" a few things:

1. As with any turbo swap, you will need to cut holes for intercooler piping.

2. You will need to shave (using a dremel or similar tool) a small portion of the turbo manifold that connects to the downpipe. This is necessary for steering rack clearance and does no harm as long as you do not shave too much off.

3. You will need to make approximately a 6" cut of the hood skeleton to achieve hood clearance (which isn't visible from outside the car).

4. You will need either a RB25DET driveshaft or a custom one made to fit the RB25DET engine.

If I buy your motor mounts and your custom drive shaft will this fix any of these problems?

Is the wait on the intake manifold still about 3 weeks and a $100 deposit Mike? Good job on the mounts, they almost look like they came from Nissan.

Is the new driveshaft needed for an rb20? or will the stock work? Will there still be fitment problems with the front swaybar?

TOPHAT PRODUCES THEM FOR NIGHT. NIGHTS VERSIONS ARE POWDERCOATED FOR EXTRA STRENGTH AND HEAT RESISTANCE, RIGHT OR IS IT JUST BECAUSE ITS CAMERON AND HE HAD TO BE DIFFICULT?

Yep so true just makes them look pretty... and is simply a sturdier option compared to paint. powdercoat can only withstand up to 160 degrees according to tiger drylac powders
