I live in Connecticut and just had a Racingline Y Pipe installed on my 2010 Altima Coupe 3.5L SR can anyone tell me if there are different emission y pipes on cars from different coasts because every form I see shows that there y pipe was one piece with a crimp and a built in cat (almost all from the west coast) on my car my stock y pipe was two pieces the y then a separate pipe with no cat so stock it never had a third cat like others I seen(together it looked like other y pipes on the forms except no crimp in the pipe or third cat) My other question or concern is did I screw myself by putting on the Racingline y pipe that deletes the third cat because I never had one in the first place or the crimp and the stock pipe was much bigger in diameter 3" compared to the Racingline that looks 2 1/2" so in the end it seems that I just restricted my car more than if I just left it stock because of the smaller pipe and I didn't need the third cat delete because there never was one and my last question if anyone knows was the racingline pipe just to help California emissions cars with the third cat and more restricted y pipe

Post some pics of your stock pipe and your RL y-pipe. That should help us out.

Edit* It is one piece but no cat like other stock ones or the crimp. I thought it was two pieces but it was broken when they took it off the car. The racingline diameter is smaller by .5 of a inch will I lose hp instead of gain like they claim? The racingline is basically the same pipe as my stock one but smaller in diameter. The racingline one is on the car already so I can't get pictures I do have pictures of the stock pipe but I have no idea how to upload pictures on this im also guessing maybe because its not a automatic that the pipe isn't crimped because there is more room and because I don't deal with California emissions cause I live in Connecticut my car came with the third cat already deleted. Again my main question now is will a .5 of a inch in diameter make a difference in power because if so ill just get a stock one and just scrap the racingline one.

One more thing will the smaller diameter pipe make the car sound more raspy I was starting to invest in the exhaust so it would sound nice and deep not like a civic or rsx with a fart can

JFolta, there's a built-in time limit for editing posts. Unlike some forms that feature WYSIWYG, NICOclub is a phpBB bulletin board system that uses BBCode. A simple SEARCH of the forums would have provided the necessary details for uploading images.

How to post pictures using photobucket

1) Log into your photobucket account.
2) Click on one recently uploaded picture. (You MUST post them INDIVIDUALLY.)
3) On the right side of the screen you'll see SHARE LINKS (see image below).
4) Left click on the box next to IMG. You'll see a confirmation that it copied the link.

Good to see you actually received yours  I ordered one a while back and a month later it still hadn't been shipped so I canceled the order  Went the custom route instead. Also where in CT are you lol? I'm in CT as well, it would be cool to meet up at a meet or something one day.

The y-pipe deletes an un-monitored cat. You should not have any problems with emissions. Mine was the same diameter as my stock piping.
