I think I just saw Taz from Racingline mention (in another forum) that rear sway bars are indeed coming soon. But he did not mention anything about being adjustable.

Anyways, mcheddadi, you are so lucky to be first running yet another new Racingline product.

OT: I'm surprised I haven't seen your car around yet considering we are in the same city. I'm sure if I did see your car, it would be hard to miss, especially with those wheels!

if this is a rear sway bar, would it fit the sedans, and if so, how would you think this would do against Stillens?

I was thinking Stillen's RSB would be my next mod, but maybe I will wait for this.

How is it adjustable? By varying to attachment point to the end links?

yeah two points on each side to attach to the endlinks. that way you can acheive more stiffness from your thick bar

it seems those are stronger brackets to mount those bigger sway bar bushings onto.

how big is the bar, in mm?

the stock one is 18.1mm, the racingline bar looks to be about 20mm thick.

did he send you new endlinks to use with it, or are you gonna stick with the ones you already had from racingline?

never mind what i just said.

i just looked it up. from the picture that mehdi posted, the bushing says 7/8in, so that converts to 22.225mm, so thats pretty decent, and being that it is adjustable makes it even better!

i had an idea in mind though. Progress makes a 24mm RSB for the 04-08 maximas, so i was going to try and test fit that onto my car. its not adjustable, but it is really thick, and it would improve handling tremendously because it is also really stiff!

now im not sure which one to be purchasing. Progress 24mm RSB, or Racingline 22mm Adj. RSB???

you also have to keep in mind the material being used. what does progress use? and do you know if the maxima rsb will fit the altima?

i had a progress bar on my 99 maxima and it was solid steel, and to my knowledge all of their bars are solid steel.

from what i know, the bar should fit since all FWD nissans from 02-current share the same rear suspension setup. the only differences between the bars are the mounting angles and directions of the sway bar endlinks

well I couldn't do it today. I'll do it first thing tomorrowthese are prototype bars, and I'm using the racingline endlinks. from what I understood is that for the "softest" setting it's going to be 25% stiffer and for the hardest one its going to be ...a LOT MORE Stiffer lol.I'll try to go with the hardest one tomorrow.

I'm going to try for some Snap-liftoff oversteer

was it just regular steel? racingline uses carboloy steel, much stronger for the torsional stress put onto the sway bar. after having racingline's sway bar on, i can say that i don't think i could ever go back to stock, i'm just having too much fun!

so you have the sway bar already.

progress uses some sort of alloy steel, as it says on their website. not sure what kind of steel, but thats what it says. heres another quote from their page.

"Progress Anti-roll bars are cold-formed in-house using our custom-built precision bending equipment. Both laser-cut and CNC bar ends are MIG welded in place using a precise fixture for an exact fit."
