Well, the title speaks for itself. Racingline's grounding kit or Sentient By Design's grounding kit. Is there any difference between the two. Is one better than the other? Is there different grounding points between the two? Just want some opinions on which is the better choice, because I'm looking forward to getting one soon.

not much difference, they have different grounding points, i think racingline uses higher gauge wires and has an extra grounding point or two. i'd recommend racingline's, i have it and love it.

If they both have different grounding points, would it be beneficial to have both since one will have grounding points where the other kit does not? I don't know much about grounding kits, so sorry if it was a stupid question.

And from Racingline

Specs:

* Industry best tinned 2058 strand 4AWG wire, 100% oxygen free copper
* Logo free wires
* thick heavy duty tinned copper lugs
* tinned BURNDY contractor lugs for Battery + connections
* 5-7 ground wires
* 1 Alternator to battery cable (optional)
* picture instructions included
* all wires labeled for easy reference

Hope that helps.

both is overkill, especially since i think they have some points which are the same. they're not all different.

Hey jman, thanks for the info. I saw those specs already. Looks like the same types of wires. I was just wondering if the two kits with different groundings would be better than one another. Or maybe it just won't make a difference to even notice? Racingline's looks like it has 1 or 2 more wires. I was just wondering if people that has SBD or Racingline prefer the other or like their purchase.

1 or 2 more wires =/= more grounding points

I don't think you're going to hear any opinions from people that have owned both the kits. Usually people just pick one, buy it, and vouch for it.

If the user bought the Racingline one, or owns one, they'll likely vouch for it and most likely will not have tried the SBD one as well.

I'm no different. I own the SBD one, have never tried the Racingline one, and will vouch for the SBD one. :mike
