I chose the 12$ shipping because that was the cheapest avaible, but that was with the USD link. I just realised that you said in the OP post that there was a 8$ shipping lol.

ah well

NP both were echeck so I can't do anything till they clear, pehaps you can cancel it from your side. if not, I'll make sure teh refund is sent.

8$ was for rear only, $12 is front only and $15-16 is the set.

yeah it looks that way, the only way to cancel is to take it to resolution center and then that I imagine is more of a hassle, ball sack that means 400$ is coming out of my account and knowing paypal they will take a their sweet effing time to refund the money....douche bags..... oh well .....

Hey Racingline, would any of the strut tower bars you guys sell fit the coupe? If not, are you guys gonna develop one?

I'll put in my order tomorrow once I pay the CC off. I don't mind waiting for the Front links as they'll be sitting around in my house for a couple months anyway.

None of the current ones will fit, The bolt circle is alot larger then the previous generations. But if all goes well I'll be fabbing up a rough sample next weekend.

yo...i got the rsb and the thing is awesome..and i ordered the rear links...however..i have heard by a pretty reliable source...that the two..rear endlink and rsb..might make the rear toooooo stiff...possible even to the point of rsb failure...im risking it any way ....and no i wont say who said!...just passin on some fyi!

That was answered a couple threads before you posted but since some people are to lazy to scroll up to read I'll re-post the answer.

I believe someone here has both the stillen rsb and the rear links. Not sure who it is though. Hopefully they see this and they post up what their conclusions are and how both components work together.

Maybe I'll hold off getting the rsb until I hear what they have to say.

I'm ready to order, but would like more info first on pairing these with the stillen 20% stiffer RSB. anyone with any history of doing both?

Eh, its not going to cause a solid rsb failure, but it could be a bit overkill for your taste depending on if you like a stiffer or softer ride

kyle@stillen wrote:hey guys,

I hope you don't mind me chiming in on this one but suspension setup is kind of my favorite part of a car.

The only way that it is possible for us to make too stiff of a sway bar is if it is too stiff for the driver's taste. When developing sway bars the manufacturer needs to be very careful about what they are trying to offer to their customer's. It is very possible to offer a bar that will be too stiff and not suitable for street use. However you would have to make the bar ALOT stiffer than factory in my opinion.

Now on Josh's car we went too stiff on both the shocks and sway bars. He didn't like it, but I LOVED it. It all comes down to personal taste. I felt like it was perfect for my short 7 mile commute to work, he thought it was too stiff for his 32 mile commute. Which makes sense. The good thing about Josh's setup for the G35 coupe is that the sway bars offer different adjustment settings. Also Josh is running the Tokico D-spec adjustable shocks. When we stiffened the sway bar I also convinced him to stiffen the shocks . Obviously it didn't take long for him to think it was too stiff so we backed off both the shocks and sway bars. With a medium setting on the sway bar and semi-stiff setup on the shock he is now happy with his ride.

When developing a sway bar that is non-adjustable and is designed to improve the handling without sacrificing ride quality we do stiffen the bar but not to the point where it offers a horrible ride.

Now, here is the combination factor. This would be a GREAT setup. It would offer the owner complete adjustability to dial in his suspension exactly the way he wants. Do you want your bar a little stiffer? Crank on those end links. Do you want it softer? again, adjust the links. I highly doubt that you could over stiffen our sway bars to the point of failure as they are very strong. We actually manufacture sway bars for some of the biggest suspension companies in the world.

my vote= do both and enjoy playing with the settings!

(edited because my initial post looked like jibberish...I can't believe you guys could understand what I was trying to say haha.)

Exactly, I thought of the same post in response to that post. The Stillen bar is WAY stronger than stock, you can feel the difference. If anything were going to fail, it would be the stock bar with the end links, which I would also be surprised about...

I think the issue will be everything being too stiff. Having just installed the RSB, it may just be me, but I feel an ever so slight overcompensation by the rear vs front. I think adding the front end links will definitely balance the ride, curious to see how the RSB/end link combo will feel though.

hey guys i hope i didnt cause any comotion with this... like i said im getting both!...background info..i live in the nyc area...roads are as pock marked as a pre-pubecent kid's face!!! and the stiffened a$$ of the coupe gets alot of stress other than the smooth curves of a windy highway or the maintained roads of the rest of the country!...i put this question to someone and told them of MY PARTICULAR driving situation...and they gave me that tid bit of info...(about the bar failing/ breaking)i have my springs and sway in already..been driving on them for about a week now..and let me say i LOVE LOVE LOVE the response on manuvering...the car is more connected to you if that makes sence...ur nose and tail seem more on the same page...theres no recovery lean after a lane change...no bounce....just smooth sweet manuvering...now...about the ride on bumpy uneven ...potholed roads....UGH me arse hurts.....u feel every thing...if theres a bug on the road and u roll on it...u feel it...

now to each his own..i like the fact i can FEEL the drive more..so i went ahead with the ordering the links...some people dont wanna feel anything...then dont touch your suspension at all!...even just the sway bar made a huge difference to me...BEFORE i dropped and went 1+ on the wheels...

like i said...i was just passing fyi!...not trying to discourage at all~~

The great part about the endlinks is that they are adjustable. Mines aren't at the max. I can go with a sharper response but I like it my way
