Apparently you don't keep up with SCCA and things of that nature. They have stuff going on all over NC. Hell, Cherry Point even let them on base to do an autocross on the flight line.Brent.S14 wrote:There's always a bunch going on in the NC area, not really much going on in Greenville, I'd know because I live around there and the only thing that does go on is the import meet at Harley Davidson off Woodruff in Greenville. There was some sort of event going on around Charlotte but I can't remember, check it out thought.
A LOT of people run COMPLETELY stock cars. The RX-7 I drove was stock. There was a dude driving a honda accord with 220k on the clock on the original motor. There was even a guy with a cobra replica there.nissan_s13 wrote:I would love to do auto-x but i'd have to work on my suspension and my diff first XD..

He's free to share what he wants about auto x. Did you come in here just to run your mouth?charat wrote:sooooooooo what compelled you to share this with us?

Yeah, I guess, but I don't enjoy watching 15 second straight line races for the same reason I don't like watching foot and bicycle races. I lose interest before they're over..nissan_s13 wrote:thx for sharing s13k1d,
a race is a race right? no matter the time... +1 again now that i saw the vid lol
Drag racing is much cheaper by comparison... You can go to a local drag strip and usually run for less than $30... Try to get into a road course for that...s13k1d wrote:but my schools dumb and refuses to try and get us road course time. oh well.
