I tried test with engine on and engine off

same result, air seems to flow freely

You're theory is correct, but there is one thing missing. When a certain boost level is reached which is determined by the user on the head unit, the valve will open, but it just doesn't stay open, because if it stays open the whole time, you will lose boost, so it's got to rapidly open and close the wastegate controlling boost to a certain level with different rates that the wastegate open and closes. I think the biggest issue is setting up the head unite which I have no clue in doing which is why I went with a MBC, but if your unit is new, I doubt it's broken. I'm suspecting the settings are at fault but I never really got my buddys EBC to work the way a MBC does. Hmmm....

a few posts back, jeff mentioned to connect it to the hot pipe

I called blitz and the tech said it must be befreo the throttle boddy because the intake manifold will not have enough pressure or some thing.

what about something like this?

I'll install it between the turbo and the hot pipe

Just drill hole in the hotpipe and screw the nipple in. That's what I did~

11.5 psi on s14 turbo (any more than that it start to knock)

beat 2 mustang GT today, 1 stock 1 had a loud exhaust, woo hoo!
