have something against me altiman? i feel some tension coming from your posts, i wont argue the mid 16s times my car is good for, and she was actually a pretty good drive, she chirped em in 1st, and a lil squeak in second, all in all, it was a pretty good run. When i race a friends s13 he wont beat me unless he launches 'perfectly'. And yes, haha, i was lucky to beat her, but ill take a lucky win anyday. O, just for the recond, i didnt 'opt' for the auto, trust me, i wish i had a 5spd very badly, but, take what u can get when u can get it ya know?Altiman94 wrote:5 speed driver must not have been good, cuz your altima is good for mid 16's with that auto transmission you opted for, and the 240 is good for high 15's. With good driving on both sides, you'd get spanked. Don't try arguing with the mid 16's on your car, that's waht they run. I've seen multiple QR powered altimas run 16.6's stock auto.
haha, no,it wasnt that easy of a walk, i didnt mean i walked on her as if she stopped moving, just pulled on her, and i know she was nailing it, i chated for a second at the next light and complimented on her car, and she mentioned that it 'still pulls really strong all the wa to 7k rpm', im not trying to say my car is faster or any of that, i was just mentioning the race, thats allDeltaSteve wrote:also, i'm guessing that when you walked away from her at 45, she had decided the race was over and let off
you talking about 240's??nlzmo400r wrote:yep, they're rare, hell any 5spd 3rd gen is rare as hell, since they're tilted more toward luxury now. At first i was fine wih my auto, but now i want a 5spd very badly, o well, ill hang on to her atleast till she's paid off and then ill get something more sporty
this is true, and so was your previous statement, but i have an AUTO, so the altima is quicker when rolling, but from a stop, i get beat out of the whole and theres nothing i can do with it, and i belive a 98 SE 5spd weighs in at just under 29oo lbsJ-Spec Tuner wrote:that car would walk over ANY 240sx with a KA24DE (unless turbo) all day long and still have a warrenty.
