I wonder what HP the VQ35 in the Altima is tuned for... only 260ish in the Max but 280ish in the Z/Infiniti...

she shifts at 7k? if i shift any later then 5.7k i feel a loss in pull till i shift. 03 vs 98... age is a hp killer

true, and i dont think she runs to 7k on a regular basis

The weigth still doesnt change the fact that your altima probably puts about 30hp more to the wheels than any stock 240 and should (with the exception of it being auto) overcome a 100lb weight difforence.

yes it does overcome the weight difference, thats why i always win in a roll on, however, against a 5spd from a stop, i have nothing until we get moving, if u started my altima against a stock 5spd 24o from a 2omph roll or 4o or 6o or whatever, i would win, not by much, cause the 24o gains ground when it shifts (quicker shifts than my auto) but i would still be on top
