yea but u must admit, u dont have the 'average KA, and i gurantee you wont beat spec V's al day, a friend of mine has one and runs 15.1s-low 15.2s all day, and the only other guy that has one that i know around here runs 15.3s and his worst was a 15.5Silent Drifter wrote:my ka takes spec-v's no problem. All I have is 2.25" piping all the way back from the exhaust manifold an just a muffler at the end. An a KN filter. An hell of alot of miles 175k.
that would be a close race, you'd have a chance for sure, depending on how 'tuned' his ECU is. A stock 95 328i 5spd runs 16.6s, and the stock 24o will easily pull 16.1-16flat, id put my money on the 24o in this raceZenKid_S14 wrote:what about a '93 two door 325i 5spd inline 6 with a tuned ECU and short shifter against a '96 240sx 5spd with injen intake and aftermarket exhaust?
the spec V is rated at 185 ft lbs of tq, thats 3o more ft lbs of tq at the crank from the factory, and the prelude is nice, but personally, i thi khtesvLOKS BER, IHA ETHE HEADLIGHTS ON THE PRELUDE, TOO BOXY AND OLD LLOOKING. aND SO WHA TIF HE'S YOUR FRIEND, TAKE HIM TO THE TRAACK AND GIVE HIM A RUN, JUST FOR KICKSdeftdrummer wrote:well i dont think im really going to race the guy, he's one of my friends. But when he first got the car he was in love with it. He was trying to decide between the sentra and a 98 honda prelude. Personally i would have went with the prelude as it has more HP and is wayyyy better looking. Both are front wheel drive.
The one thing he kept preaching was "high torque high torque" but i believe they have only like 5 ft lbs more than the 240 right??
