sorry about the caps guys, my computer is crap, and i meant to say: i think the spec V looks better than the lude, thh hedlihts ontude are too boxy and old looking, and so what if he's your friend, take him to the track, and give him a run, just for kicks. there, finally got it all out right

well i still think the prelude lights are better. Plus they keep saying that the Spec-v is the "little brother of the skyline." Al im saying is that the race would be really close, driver dependant.

yes the raqce between the spec V and your 24o would be pretty close, but if i had to put money down, id say the spec will tak you, my 4spd auto altima walks my friends 93 SE5spd but he gets me on launch, so a closer geared spec V would more than likely take you, but u never know, and best of luck

i raced my cousin's '93 BMW when he first got it, so he didn't have any mods, and he was just getting used to stick, and i smoked him by 1 and a half car lengths, but again, he didn't know how to shift, he was shifting at 4500rpms for fear of hurting his car, now with that ECU he can rev to about 7000rpm's and wants a rematch hehe. i'm sure he'll win, but i don't think he'll smoke me.

well like i said, the 95 328i 5spd ran 16.6, thats not fast, atleast not faster than a 24o, but with a 7k redline, depends on how much power hemakes up top. And 'when all else fails, a civic is all you need'?? i dont understand, i mean, civics are ok i suppose, but id take a 24o over a civic anyday

a bone stock spec v would be an awesome race for the 240. my friend has a decently modded 02 spec v and he is faster sometimes it does come down to launch.

I'd have to go with the Spec V on this one.

I got one for you fellows. What's the odds of a 10psi SR20DET powered 240sx with intake and exhaust have against a Automatic Convertible Z28 with a 3" exhaust?

so basically a stock sr2o'd s13 (?) against a z28 with exhaust and auto. Well, stock SRs are running mid 14s, but it dpeends greatly on the type of exhaust the 24o has. If it has stock KA exhuast, id say the z28 wins, But if it has a turbo catback or something along those lines., itd be closer, however the auto z28s run 14.1 all day, so itd taek some driving and you'd have to kill him out of the hole. Chances are at only 1o psi, the 24o would lose, but not by much

It's a turbo cat-back exhaust. But 3 psi makes a huuuuuge difference. And heck I might just up the boost to 11-12psi. Oh and the z28 guy doesn't know much about driving and whatnot's and it's loaded down with like a 1-200lb sound system. Would this make a difference?

most defintely, if you knjow how to launch your car, you have a good shot at winning this one, especialy with the added weight of his system in the back. And i thought the stock SR's ran at 1opsi, not 7 like you're telling me,thats why i assumed he would take you, with you bein on stock boost

Stocker SR's run 7...... at least mine did..... at least that's what my boost gauge tells me. I launch at about 4-4.5k and shift at 6300. Should I be able to take him?

nope, stock PSI on a T25 is 6-7. That's what the boost gauge read when I put it in. Then I put on the boost controller and set it to + 3psi and now it runs on 10psi all day long.
