thought i'd ask the skyline experts here....how much would any of you guys pay for 4 oem gtr r32 rims? In other words, how desirable are they? I know they are rare, but I also don't want to get juked into paying too much..Also, I've been looking at a set but were missing 2 centercaps. Are these "spartan air" center caps very hard to come by as well? Man I've searched for a while and haven't seen anything good. ANY help/advice is much appreciated thanks guys

Thanks man, I think i saw those...I'm trying to get a set for around 500(maybe 600 tops)from what I've researched, these rims are forged magnesium and rare so that's why they're a lot pricier than say z32 tt rims.anyone have pics of them on a red kouki?

Rare in the U.S., Yes. $850 here in the States would be a decent price. I brought back 5 of them from a trip to Hong Kong last year. By the time you add up the plane ticket, hotel, and other incidental costs, $850 is a deal for something never made available in the U.S.

Nope, forged aluminum. Price some magnesium rims... There not that rare, in Japan but elsewhere.

Hell, I went to Autobacs second hand market, and Up-Garage last night. Both places had 1 set each, with tires for 38,000 yen.

Yeah i know how cheap they are in japan. I went to okinawa over the summer and saw all kinds of stuff at junkyards and elsewhere. it killed me to see clean s13 silvias and gtr's in the boneyard..I was thinking of buying them there and somehow have everyone in my family take 1 wheel on the plane..lol so much for that..

the cheapest set i've seen in the u.s. is 600 and they're missing 2 centercaps..many of them go for around 800 a set. Idk, for that much I can just about get some brand new fn01rc's in way bigger sizes and offsets..

For the hell of it, if anyone is willing to part from a set of r32 gtr rims for around 500 , hit me up!

nah, you're thinking of the gts-t rims which are 16x6.5 with a higher offset of like +40. The gtr rims are the sex man, 16x8 +30 forged all around..

Here is what the wheels look like on a white S14, couldnt find it in red. Also the centercaps are the same as the GTS wheels, just color matched to the GTR wheels.

Are the centercaps of the GTR really the same as the Gts's?

Yes, they are the same dimensions, the only difference is that the color is different.

thanks speedracer ...that's funny the first time I saw the r32 gtr rims up close was on a white k's in okinawa just like the one in the pic, but it was way more thrashed, and probably worth about 3,000 bucks. These wheels aren't exactly flush but they can be easily fixed via wheels spaceers. Aren't the centercaps painted underneath a clear layer of plastic? unless the plastic can be removed, re-painting wouldn't be so easy in that case if you wanted to swap some gts-t centercaps...

I have a pic of some on a zenki i'll add them on this thread if i remember

yeah it's kinda weird cuz the z32 tt rims are 8.5 in back and have the same tires i think..no worries, you could still stuff some 265's on those 8's

i am thinking i am going to go with at least a 255 in the rear and put a 225 in the front, i cant seem to stop breaking traction on a corner ( danm thing wants to drift everyday!!) and also when the boost kicks in it wants to bust them loose!!well see

haha, yeah my car spun the tires at full boost in 4th doing 60mph in the rain that's the fun part tho right lol? 255's good just get somewhat of a low profile, maybe 255/50 at the most?

zerothread/265747 There's some good pics and fitment info on skyline wheels if anyone's interested.

singlecamham, I thought you were posting some random sh*t lol jhotimports only has gts rims, basically the same thing as the 240sx se wheels that's why they're so cheap, but tell me if you see some gtr wheels for 200
