QX4 Steering wheel

I'm looking at a steering wheel for a '02 QX4 to replace the '92 Q's that is looking a little tired.

Any chance the airbag assy. and cover will fit from my Q?

I think it's been done, but you may have to use the air bag fromt he "donor" car. Be very cautious when moving safety equipment from one auto to another.

yes its possible almost a direct bolt on but now that i see other options of wood grain, i would have rather gone that way. ask jebsnyc where he found a website that sold nissan woodgrains. if you still want to go with the qx4 im here for questions.

forgot to mention, the airbag cover of the 90 96 will not fit into the qx4 with any type of feasable modification. i tried. but the airbag unit from the 90 96 will bolt up to the 2001 qx4 cover.

It looks like hewwier427 is saying that the bag will hook up, but the cover won't work.

correct. the 90-96 actual airbag bower unit that is bolted to the airbag cover, will bolt onto the 2001 cover. this makes it so you dont have to cut out the 90's airbag wire connetor, and replace it with the 2001. not a big deal, but i really dont like air bag stuff. my brother went to airbag school, and while its rather safe to work with, it only takes one mistake to get really hurt!
