Water injection is a cheap way to safely raise boost. Joseph Obernberger sells water injection kits on his website http://water.lovehorsepower.com/

$360 for a stage I (single port injection)$410 for a stage II (dual port injection)

Or you can source parts and make your own kit for a little less.

But if you're looking for a shortcut to higher boost, and you haven't already read Dee's sticky zerothread/230677 then you definitely should. That's wisdom right there.

Dunno about the wastegate...doesn't seem unlikely.

iirc stands for If I Recall Correctly.

Hope I was helpful.

cheapest way to raise boost is w/ a manual boost controller, but I'd read Dee's post 1st. cause cheapest useulally isn't the best.

They do have an adjustable wastegate for the t28. HKS makes one, and I think some other company, cant remember the name.

Water injection is sick, I still wanna get my windshield washer bottle back in the car so I can mist my intercooler.

Yea, the T28 @ 6psi on the CA isn't much fun. I built a manual boost controller that worked pretty darn well for about $25. The only reason I got rid of it was because it couldn't be adjusted from in the cabin.
