A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Now it makes sense. The ASTU15 4-button definitely works with 2007-on Sentras. The ebay seller originally sent you one for the earlier Sentras (CWTWB1U429). The new Sentra is a totally new (French-influenced) platform which shares very few, if any, parts with its predecessor. High volume ebay stores tend to not show you a picture of the remote you are actually going to get. Smaller individual sellers do.Not sure which model no. Onyxblue received from the ebay seller with a flashy web site that doesn't disclose much info., such as the model no. of the remote.

Hey thanks for the info! I have a 2007 Sentra 2.0 and bought a ASTU15 key fob off of eBay for $10 shipped. I followed the programming steps in this thread and now I have a working keyless entry!

By the way, the ASTU15 I have has 3 buttons.

Someone whould make a new post and make it sticky.

Yes, I see that the KBRASTU15 comes in 3-button and 4-button style, with all the other identifying nos. the same. Somewhat confusing of Nissan. The 3-button came with Muranos, Quests and P/finders, all of which have a proper handle on their hatch presumably, so a separate release is not needed. At least you know if you ever want to get another one, you can get a 4-button, but they seem to go for $5 or so more, at least when new.

Ok, I received the key fob and I got it working on my daughter's Sentra 2.0 base. The remote is the same as the 07 Pathfinder:

FCC ID: cwtwb1u415CAN: 1788A-FWB1U41528268A

Thank you everyone for your help

New to the forum--you guys have been very helpful. Just bought a 2008 Sentra base model.

FYI---I also went to EBay looking for the remotes using the FCC ID cwtwb1u415. I bought one that had the same product number (28268EA), but when the remote arrived, the FCC ID was cwtwb1u733. It still worked just fine, using merlinpr's instructions. I'm not sure if this may be an updated or old version of the same remote, but it has the same product number, and works perfectly.

Here's my info:

FCC ID: CWTWB1U733IC: 1788A-FWB1U733P/N: 28268EA

Thanks again!
