questions about my lights
questions about my lights
today i put in a new cd player that i got and so i had to do alot of re-wireing. tonight when i turned my lights on, my dashboard lights didnt work and my taillights did not work either (my brake lights did though) I was thinking that i messed up a wire behind my cd player so i was going to ask about it on here if anybody knows anything about what wire i might need to fix and how to fix it before i go looking for the problem myself, im to lazy to do it tonight so i was going to do it tomorrow, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check the fuses...one blown fuse put out my friends dash and taillights.

yah, the same thing happened to me when I was replacing my deck, I accedentaly grounded the Lighting wire and it blew the fuse for the dash and tailights.

yeah, same thing happened to me. disconect the wire that you used as the ground on the harness, then ground it to the chassis and not through the harness. find the blown fuse and replace it. voila!
