I am trying to mate the rear portion of an ABS automatic driveshaft with the front portion of a non-abs manual driveshaft. The reason is because I need a manual abs driveshaft, obviously.

Problem is, the connections are slightly different at the midsection of the shaft. The ABS shaft has a larger groove in the center with a smaller bolt pattern:

Here are the two rear portions of the shafts.non-abs manual shaft on the left, ABS automatic shaft on the right:

Is there a way for me to take the u joint of the shaft on the left and put it on the shaft on the right, that way I will have the proper bolt pattern? I do not see how to remove the u joints.

Any help is appreciated, thanks

Local driveshaft shop might be able to press the U-Joints out

You have the wrong shafts, one of those shafts should have a carrier bearing on one end. There should be only 3 U joints total. I would take pictures to better explain it but my wife took the camera to a wedding, hold on I will make a picture.

The picture you posted shows both flanges with U joints, I am guessing either you have the rear portion backwards or one of your shafts is the wrong one.

Here is the picture I made, notice there is no u joint at the front portion of the rear shaft, I hope this helps.
