What about just getting Megan racing street coilovers- the upper camber plates should be able to compensate for alot of the neg. camber

Im a big fan of eibach sportlines ! had them on a 98 prelude and now 92 s13 and this week i put some one a buddies 91 integra with kyb up front
^ dont get me wrong i just would always opt for coilovers now even for street set up $

^yes megan not that "great expensive but if they werk for a 1 year good enough for me! longer than ive ever owned a car

Because Megan coilovers are about $800 to $900. And why spend that much on coilovers and run the same 15 year old parts everywhere else? I am looking at the long term, as I plan on keeping this car for a very long time. So I'd rather have all new adjustable parts than 1 nice new part adding stress on the rest of my old a** parts.

I wouldn't get aftermarket front lower control arms unless you're going to modify them to correct roll center.

Especially because the Godspeed's outer bearings are super tight and they won't turn at all when you're turning your wheels, it's rubbish.

Gotcha. Those are the parts that I'm sure about anyways. Since they are a separate from the rest of the set I wasn't going to order them until I did the rest, and determined afterwords if they were needed. Would they really throw off the roll center that much? I was under the impression that they'd be real close to the stock specs.

Godspeed is china based quality. They will wear out faster then namebrand parts. Their rod ends and bearings are on the low end. You will replace them.

Really what you want is SPC or SPL. Totally different companies. SPC makes more race/precision oriented stuff. They use spherical bearings and rod ends to make everything more adjustable and precise. They will require eventual replacement, but should last a good long time on a street car if taken care of.

SPC makes adjustable camber arms, toe arms and traction arms with bushings to reduce NVH (aka noise vibration and harshness) Great for a daily driven street car, and tire wear. I recommended a set to my friend and they work perfectly and are easy to adjust.

If all your getting are drop springs and struts, or just going for a mild lowering, you'll probably only need RUCA's. I wouldn't buy front camber plates, that's money that should go for coilovers that include them already.

Honestly, your going way too far into the suspension linkages, and not enough on the actual dampeners and springs. Your way better off buying quality coilovers that handle and ride better, and just some ruca's then doing every adjustable link with drop springs and struts.

Get on Nissanroadracing.com if you want to really see what parts are good and will last a decent amount of time, WHILE performing GOOD.

Whats your actual goal? Decent stance and low tire wear?

My actual goal is to lower the car down a bit, while maintaining the stock profile of the suspension and tires. Im not looking for negative camber front or rear. Also, I want to replace most of the stock parts with newer parts in the interest of longevity. I figure that if the stock parts have lasted 15 years or so that these parts I'm looking at should last at least close to that long. Just looking for a refresh on the factory parts, and a tad lower ride height, ie not more than 1.5 inches.

Well, rod ends, especially cheap ones, that don't have rubber boots to protect them could seize up and break the arm but I've never seen it happen.

Yeah, but to get correct alignment for any sort of ride height, you only really need rear camber and toe arms and a camber plate for the front.

I guess you cant use camber plates for front with stock/aftermarket springs they hit fenders just for reference

- Spring/Strut/bumpstop,boots,insulators/all other parts for adjusting camber;caster.....if you wanted
=probly around 800$ to do it right spend the same or a bit more and get "quality coilovers

I have no idea if there is any coilover out there that would last 15 years i doubt it. I think their lifespan is bout 3-5 yrs tops pending drifing conditions obviously. Then they just need a rebuild- that might be the kicker tho i guess not many companies still do rebuilds so if a company offers rebuilds for decent price id go with them!

Ive been reviewing ur thread i need to adjust camber only for my drag set up i think im just gonna go coils to have full control.
