I don't know when's the last time I heard of Megan, Ksport, or even Godspeed coilovers completely break on someone. It might've happened before, idk. These aren't my first choices either, but to people who don't want to spend more for something better, they make for an attractive alternative.

You'd rather buy a set of used coilover, that are most likely blown, and are out of production for $550. Then hope to find a place to rebuild them for you. You'll probably end up paying $500 to some unknown shop who doesn't even know what a 240 is, to rebuild your coilovers for you. So now, you've just spent about the same amount on some used coilovers with a sexy name, when you could've gotten a brand new set of Stance or KTS. Where's the logic in that? How you like to spend your money is your deal, but with me, I'd like to get the most for my money.

^plunty of motorcylce shops will rebuild them and can revalve them to match the spring perfectly. They dont need to know what a 240 is. It wont cost 500 to have them rebuilt. I would rather not buy a coilover i would prefer some kyb yellows, blisten, or ohlin shocks, and sleeve them.
