So I'm pretty broke, and if I do this deal it would set me back on my project car a bit.. Maybe almost by a month or two but I really think it would be a good deal.

Should I pick up a set up Kei office S13 coilovers for 550 dollars? he originally wanted 900 but he keeps lowering the price on craigslist. I really want coils but I'm so broke I'd be put back a month or two finishing it..Hmm..

I can't decide

Heres a quote from the add

"These came from my friend in florida and they were on his car for a while until he decided to part it out. These are similar to tein. I rode in the car and they ride very smooth. "

He didn't say how many miles. But when i look at them how can i tell they're blown or not. I need to know we set it up for this tuesday for 550 dollars!

that could easily be like how every used car at a car lot was owned by some little old lady who used the car to get to and from the doctor's office and the grocery store

Buy them before I do, good deal and if they're blown you can get them rebuilt. They look ok, and is probably better than stock crap or what you might have right now.

hahaha agreed. I would still go for it though. good deals on coilovers are hard to find. I am unfamiliar with this brand though.

If you're that broke, but you have $550 to spend. I'd just save a few more hundred and get Megans or even Ksport.

Those look an awful lot like a set of Kei Office i saw on ebay last week. When I saw them, the bid was only at $250. I scrolled down to find that they were leaky amongst other problems. Drift Boy makes a good point. Buyer Beware.

They're "used" Kei office . A brand new set of Megans, Ksport, even Godspeeds are better than a set of used and most likely blown (insert sexy name brand here)coilovers. All most people are looking for is just to slam their rides anyways. I'd recommend Stance as that's what I have, but the OP doesn't seem to want to spend another $500.

If the guy is local, which i think you said he was. Go look at the coilovers and look for excessive amounts of fluid around the seals. A little is perfectly normal and it needs some..only some..lubrication around the shaft near the seal to keep them moving smoothly. Looks like a great buy, and even if one is blown you can have it rebuilt..better to go with quality than a less expensive set that will just break.

I would get them. Offer the dude 500 bucks, even if they are blown they are still a great brand and I would rather have them than megan.
