CA people. I'm assuming you've never lived out of CA. He's sweating b*lls in FL when it's raining because it's humid as sh*t down there. CA only rains when it's cold, everywhere else, it rains whether it's hot or cold. So imagine how humid it'll get when it rains, but it's hot outside.

To the op, you'll just have to suck it up. I had no AC in central CA during the summer. It sucks coming out all sweaty, but that's part of having a 240.
i guess...fl that HUMIDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD....i live in CA so WTF...i had no a/c for summer and no heat for winter...no complaints so far except my parents...

just roll the windows down, if its hot as balls outside the rain will cool you down too but really, I have no ac on my s13 either. I just crack the windows, turn the temp over to cool and run the defroster. helps most of the time, ac is for ballers and ricers anyway, of which I am neither

The people who say "stop complaining and open your windows" should try driving in Miami during a thunderstorm. Then they can repent after they drive their car into a canal because of poor visibility.

Sketchy I have the same dilemma as you. To make matters worse, the previous owner put some cheap a** window tint which sucks so my visibility during rain is minimal and it fogs up really quick. I have all the parts I need to install AC, just need to save up some $$ for the labor...

Ive tried the rain x fog but wasnt really convinced, but Im about to give this product a try

From what I've read it seems pretty good, maybe you should try it out and see if it helps. I'm also going to try their rain repellent. If it works the same as in my uncle car's then its worth gold.

SketchyRollin564 wrote:your point? like i said, im fine without AC, it really aint that big of a deal in an older car, but when its raining you really want it, so you can have the windows closed without the windows fogging up and sweating your balls off from all the humidity

and in the summer, somtimes its just nice to have ice cold AC when you live in south florida and its hot and humid as balls
It's either sweat your balls off and use the heater to defrost the window or live with the foggy windows :p

The price difference isnt so minimal and it wasnt a long term suggestion. He has no ac now, and can get raingaurds for cheaper than fixing his ac now. Using 3m double-sided tape for a simple fix > AC. Plus when you throw the gas mileage topic in there.... it all makes sense.
