question for anybody who has gotten popped in cali?

I live in rocklin ca....and i got my hood popped in a parking lot by nine cars and 15 cops. ALL of them one me. I was cuffed at gunpoint as was my friend in the passenger seat. We sat in the back of the cop car for two hours as they popped my hood and looked at everything. 8 cops around my hood and car. I had illegal exhaust. My sr20, expired reg, and i was holding drift somewere around 45 around a corner when i noticed the lights. They told me i couldn't drive my car home because i had expired reg. Got a ticket for that, and the exhaust. I even told him that i did a swap and "Wasn't sure, if its legal because i haven't smogged it yet."

That was like 15 cops off of Sunrise (the main "cruise strip") in my area. And they didn't tow it. I didn't even get the smog ticket. So i think it really depends on where. Because my buddy got his car towed without them even popping his hood for drifting in a park-and-ride.

I have had mine for over a year, and i get pulled over i would say 2 times a month. Thats the only ticket i have ever gotten.
