If that's not what he was trying to say then why the **** did he even post it? It wouldn't make any sence in the context of the thread. It would be like me saying "I like to food" in the middle of this thread.

If you can't answer that for me then you shouldn't have tried to interpet his post or disagree with me in the first place.

I still remember how much I loved to see 510's sporting nice 15' Libra's.....
16 in tires? Id hope your tires have a larger diamiter then that...

Like dean said having smaller rims stock doesn't mean it was designed that way for max preformance. It migh just have been engineered that way to provide a softer ride from a larger sidewall. Changing from stock DOES mean your messing with the intended engineering of the car, but that doesn't mean its a bad change, just that you need to be aware of what you are doing.

Weight aside from a suspension stand point the offset changes that accompany wider wheels would most likely have a MUCH large effect on suspension geomitry then diamiter.

i alreayd have 18s, but they are only 7.5 and with a 42+ offset. I like the look of the 18s on my car, and i dont go with a big profile tire. only 35s. And not everyone in this world who owns a 240 is a huge, godly, drifter like you. So leave us alone and let us do wat we want to our cars. I live in wisconsin, and we dont have **** for drift tracks around here. And if i do decide to get into drifting, ill just buy new rims OR use my stock rims.

This made me laugh out loud.

At what point in this thread did I say I was a godly drifter or even mention drifting? I never even claim to be a good drifter, and drifting is not even my automotive focus. I do know a lot about wheels/tires/suspension and I am simply voiceing facts and my well backed opinions.

alright...question basically answered, youre going to have to run crazy small tires to fit that, probably 225 on the 9.5 which is too stretched...on top of a ton of fender work

youd be much better off with a set of 17s...18s are hard to do on 240s

anyway thread went nuts so its getting locked
