question about my greddy fmic...

so on the piping right before the ic, there is a big port/(nipple)it is just capped off, but it is prolly a good 1.5" dia. and it is down by the fmic,I was just curious what that was meant for

More than likely it's made for mounting a BOV there. If you plan to mount your BOV anywhere besides that 1.5" diameter nipple than just cap it off.

yea I have my type s mounted on my IC hot pipe in the factory location.that is the way it came with the kit, but there is also that other port.I have seen people run bovs down in that location, but I dunnoI will post a pic later

I had that same thing on my Trust (GReddy) R-spec except it already had a greddy bov flange welded on....we just cut it off and welded on the HKS flange... its actually a good location for mounting the bov......

but it wasnt flanged for a bov, it was just like a bog nipple,like this

personaly I think its a terrible location. but maybe thats just me

well its super responsive there...i always thought closer to the throttle the better but the tial on my drift car is right by the throttle and it SUCKS.....it has horrible response.... this way is soo much better and its just far enough down the piping to not be terribly hot and lower the bov's lifespan.... but what do i know....
