Question about leakdown test and new motor?

hey just curious about leakdown testing a brand new never ran motor....i got a valve job and new rings pistons etc all that good stuff and am curious if the motor should have perfect leakdown or does all the parts need to be seated first before getting a true reading of the leakdown and compression?

you wont be able to get a good reading until its been broken in, at least a little bit
