Unbelievable. I'm sorry to hear about this wretched incident, AZ.

Perhaps a nice flaming bag of dogsh*t on your degenerate neighbor's porch would give them a hint of your displeasure. I know all sorts of ugly methods to drive troublesome people out of a neighborhood...I live in Jersey, after all.

DUDE, THAT SUX HUGE!!! I could never understand the mindset of trashing somebody elses stuff... What gives?!?

I remember in High School when somebody dropped a (must have been nearly full) 64 oz cup of soda in the open sunroof my car...

It was just a Toy corolla sportback, but it was my Toy... It had a lot of blood, sweat and tears poured into it and the interior never came clean.

The best you can hope for is to find out who did it and make an example of them so that they (and their dirtbag friends) think twice before acting like an idiot again. Unfortunately they probably just get more pissed off and take it up a level the next time.

"Serenity now!"... "serenity now!"... there I feel better for a moment anyway.

Cheers, Gadget

Well, I have a motion-sensing security light and a "dummy" surveillance camera (actually a real one, it just doesn't work) right over the garage window.

I already put a bright orange sign in the window (it faces the street) that says, "CAMERA GOT YOU. :)" Psychologically, it might cause some concern.

AND, when I get her home from the shop tonight, I'm gonna park her shiny fat arse out in the front yard, kick back in my porch chair with my scotch and my cigar, and smile at everybody that rolls by - You ain't done sh_t to the HITMAN. :)

Vanadalize a Q!

Hitman our condolences are with you

Sucks about the repaint. The top coat on Q's is worth it's weight in gold. Why do so many 12 year old Q's still shine when other cars with much younger factory paint look so dull ... and so few shops are capable of doing that quality.

Those Bastards!!!!!!!!!!!!!

argh! that car was my perfect model. the car that i wanted mine to look so much like. thank got she wasn't ruined! grrrrrr... that whole event pissses me off like noones businessss(wierd, if i double tap the "s" it types out four "s"s).

1. now i think you should make that camera work.2. keep the sign up that says the camera got them

3. did you notify the police?

4. keep going through their trash for another week or so. they probably threw it away inside and wont bring the can out for a few days until they empty the trash

5. put up more signs shoving it in their face for while you're sitting out side. something like "you can't kill the q" or "still brand new" or some crap like that.

umm.. thats the end of my 5 cents

If that mullet-wearing urchin knew what was good for him, he'd know better than to mess with the Q crowd...

AZ, just shoot over his address to the Q-goon patrol and we'll take care of him..

Hitman invest in one of the new E99 Paintball guns. They are just about $100 if you find a good price and are full auto at 13 rnds a second. You can paint their car every night of the week from the comfort of your own porch/roof/window/car while driving to work.

LOL, you guys are THE BEST.

Aztek, that pic looks like, "HITMAN'S Family Goes to the Lake."

UPDATE: Well, I picked up Quella last night at the shop. My wallet is $500 lighter, which REALLY sucks because that was our vacation savings.

However, I must say she looks amazing. The shop cleaned the entire car with some sort of solvent. Then they neutralized the solvent and wet sanded the car twice. Then they buffed it and polished it. You can't believe the difference. I had forgotten how DEEP the Ivory Pearl Quartz looks on an old Q looks... I thought my paint was good before, but now that the dulled layer of clear coat is gone, there's a really impressive effect when the sun hits the pearl... almost a rainbow or prism effect. Wow.

Anyway, since the paint was now "naked", I spent the rest of the night (til 4 this morning) in the garage applying the Zaino polish and protectant products. My arms and wrists are in agony. For those of you that aren't familiar with the product, check out http://www.zainobros.com. This stuff is amazing. I can drop a terrycloth towel on the hood, and instead of it crumpling up and sitting there, it SLIDES OFF. Weird.

I have never seen my car look this good, so I suppose there is a bright side. BTW, the very bright sign in the front yard is attracting a lot of attention from passers-by:

"VANDAL = Spineless chickensh!t pu$$y who attacks a defenseless car instead of its owner."

I have heard very very good things about Zaino products. My neighboor has a mint condition '96 Impala SS w/ some mods. It has never seen rain, doesn't get dirty except for the occacsion road trip (only 28k miles on the odo). But anyway, he uses Zaino on his car, and it always looks amazing. I have thought about getting some for mine. I really need to clay bar it before anything else. She got waxed yesterday w/ cleaner wax and then polishing wax (all Meguiars) so she is blingin a little. Isn't the Zaino stuff a pain though, because I know some of it you have to let sit on the car a couple days, then buff off, then apply more stuff to stay on a few more days, etc etc???

Well, at least there was a bright side to all this. After all, $500 for a complete freshening/brightening of your car's paint was probably worth it, now that's it's got some of the depth back. I can think of a lot less useful things that the money could have gone to(various yard work machines, home projects, etc). Sucks that it was part of the vacation fund though...

Excellent sign too. A good way to put people on notice that the s*** ends here.

I'm glad to hear you didn't have to get her repainted. Have you seen the spineless douchebags since you got her done?
