What exactly did you bore out? Also, what other mods do you have and what kind/size of tires? I'm trying to see how fast i can get a t-25 SR without slicks.....mackdaddy240 wrote:13.4 @ 104.99mph bored out t25 running 11-14psi big traction issue

Lol, just lowered it again. Same setup. 13.48 @ 104.1 mph with a 2.111 60 ft.ElNegro wrote:Just ran a 13.52 @ 105.00 MPH with a 2.143 60 ft running 14 psi on the stock T25. (street tires)
WTF are yo u talking about man... I have taken apart an SR transmission and a KA transmission and it is the same identical thing.. As a matter of fact a Ka transmission can be used on a SR using the SR bellhousing.... Your theory is 100 % innacuratestarkos14 wrote:ive talked to a bunch of people with jdm trans and they seem to angle like this \-\-\ not that much, but barely noticable. my friend just got his swap and he said hes done the same thing before and hes been driving stick for years.
all im saying is that your runs should be better if i put up that run with slow shifts... im not saying it was the greatest run of my life... still, that seems to be the common among most of my local sr friends.... 14.0ish(stock boost) and therefore, you should try to fix and find your problem to have that sr running what it should

You having some problems with your engine? That's pretty slow for a 101 mph trap speed and a 2.0 60 foot.
I ran a 13.4 @ 104 mph with a 2.11 60 foot with street tires as well. Somethine doesn't compute...

Lol, you wont snap axles. My buddy thomas runs 10's in his S14 with slicks, and he's running a clutch LSD with stock axles.IDriveFords wrote:Tires can make a huge difference. If your spinning off the line you may wanna invest in some nicer tires like nitto 555r's or something along those lines. Although you may end up snapping axles; I dunno how beefy the stock rear axles are.
