The car sat for 3 days at a friends house, I got in it and drove home (10 mins). 2 hours later, I went for a short drive and the TCS ABS SLIP lights all apeared. I pulled to the side, turned off, and back on, and the lights were off. I drove down the block, and they came back on.
I drove home (about 5 mins total drive time), and parked the car.
In the morning, completly Dead battery.
Hook up jumper cables, and hear a compressor/pump running. The car jumps just fine, let it charge up. (ABS, TCS, SLIP lights on).
Turn off car, and i hear a sound. Open the hood, and a pumping sound is coming from the the device that seems to pump the brake fluid around (abs unit?)
I do not have a 1995 q45 factory service manual. I did read through the archives, but could not find a scenario when the unit remained on when car was off... Please help/advise. Thank you,
Previous owner installed a new non OEM alternator in the summer. Then installed a OEM Alternator about 2 weeks later. The car sat for about 2 months in the winter before I bought it.
