I put together a meet for today at Lake Natomas in the Sacramento area. Only three of us were able to make it and we had a nice time. Andy (mrx662), a new member Priscilla (PLMontague) and myself met for a couple of hours and had dinner cooked on the BBQ.

Priscilla just bought her Pearl White 91Q with Shamu interior and had lots of questions. About half way into it her boyfriend started writing down notes so I'm sure the first hour is going to be a total blur to them. Between Andy and I we've got her thoroughly confused but we do have her convinced to read, read, read if you want to be able to work on your Q and keep it running nicely.

It's always nice to see Andy's 90 Q with about 70,000 miles. It's pristine in every way imaginable and should probably be in a Nissan or Infiniti museum and not the street. Priscilla's Q for only $1400 is really very nice. Andy did a power balance test using his scan program and I verified by ohming that #8 FI is going bad. Valve cover gaskets and a lot of elbow grease are needed but other than that and the injector (and chain guides) the car is quite nice. We were too busy talking to take many pictures so I just have the one.

We'll try this again at the end of summer and hopefully more of the local Q owners will be able to come.

I would consider attending the socal meet if there is advance notice and I have my A/C fixed.

Maybe we'll have a better turnout next time near the end of summer. Andy and I would like to meet you and your Q's. How about the two of us caravan out your way some weekend soon? Drop me a line if you're interested.
