My drivers seat doesn't move. All controls for it are completely dead. I'm wondering if it is a fuse but I don't see the seat listed on the diagram...

Any ideas?

Water damage to the door maybe?

I really don't know what would cause that. Did they work previously? Maybe they're not plugged in properly.

I still can't figure out how to program my seat memory.

Sorry if I'm not much help.

Try the 10 amp fuse on the extreme upper left. While installing a radio today, I shorted out something and the seat stopped working. Replacing that fuse fixed it.

Speaking of radios, what's needed for a new radio installation. Currently I have a Blaupunkt Orlando CM-127 that I bought with the car. I want to replace it with a Kenwood that I got off eBay.

Since my Blaupunkt has the "aftermarket" wires, will they work for the Kenwood? Or does each headunit manufacturer have a specific wiring harness?

Each HU's wire harness has to be wired into a harness adapter which then plugs into the factory connector. You can grab one at Wal-Mart for 10 bucks.

My drivers side seat quit working a while back but it would still move into/out of the memory positions when you put the key in. Mine turned out to be the seat controls in the driver door. The part with the seat movement buttons. I got one off ebay for about $40 if I remember correctly. Before I found that part I ended up installing a power window or power door lock type switch on in the square hole in the front of the lower part of the seat that would allow me to move the seat forward and backward.

You should create a new thread in the audio section for this but as long as your asking...

If it's already got an aftermarket headunit installed it will be easier to install another aftermarket HU. They will have already matched up the wires so you should be able to match up the wires from the Blau HU. Some radios will have the diagram on the radio case you can match up with. Hopefully they didn't cut off the OEM plug. If they used a plug like Jesda is talking about that will make it much easier. The aftermarket plugs will have the typical aftermarket color codes and will plug right in to your OEM harness, as long as it's still there of course!

Still lost and confused, is this going to be a plug and playjob? Or will there wire cutting and splicing? Because I have NO idea on how to splice and whatnot.

The DIY switch on the front of the seat is not a simple plug and play. The door switch controller is a simple plug and play and that's what was wrong with mine. I just did the extra switch while I was waiting to find the parts.

Anyone have any experience with a drivers side power seat that inop? I have a '91 Q and none of the seat functions work.

I’ll try but seems like a different problem as none of the seat functions work. Forward, backwards, up and down and recline all inop.

There's no ESM available before '94, but on the '94 all the seat functions were controlled directly by the BCM (no separate seat controller). Maybe this will help you out, it's the '94 WD:

Thanks. That might also be in my 91 service manual

Happy to help, hope you figure it out. Holler if you need any translation, I'm pretty good at sorting out those old WD's.
