I dislike the huge button + the orange interior + the 3 orange circles around speedometer

Do you guys know links to 'how to remove dash" and those illuminated circles ?

Push button = win... plain and simple...

the color of the dash and the button not being to your liking is definately understandable.... but those can be changed... I see you have a modded poctiac... if you did a lot of the mods yourself and are familiar with car electronics, and you know what a SFM led is, and how toinstall and remove them, test circuits, and precisely use a soldering gun, then the how to would be helpful... otherwise, you will just jack up your gauges and illumination

we have a member on here that has changed the colors to blue, green, etc... but he is very skilled with all of the above!

but again, in the end... PUSH BUTTON START = a massive win on the part of Nissan

Thank you, that is what I am aiming at.

Would you / anyone be so kind and point out that person now?

I love the Push Start. I don't think I could go back to the old key. I'm a technology geek so I love things that are high tech.

I drove my dads car the other day and it uses a key. And when I got in I was all looking for the button, and didn't know what to do for a min. lol It was like dumbing down for me. ha ha ha

I voted "MEH"

I love the key and would have voted WIN, but I just had remote start installed and the smart key made it both more expensive and more complicated.

the intellikey should have only made it $80 more expensive, if they charged you more than $80 for the relay module (can-sl2, etc) then they over charged you! Also, your problems with your alarm is because of the brand of alarm you went with.... you can't blame the car!!!!!

Push button for the win. Not only is the conviencene a huge plus, it also prevents you from wearing your starter out faster than normal and over cranking the engine by cutting off the starter once the engine cranks.

I don't get the whole key thing and people liking them better. We now use keyless entries to open doors, cards to unlock building doors, bluetooth headsets, etc, all aimed at removing having to use a mechanical device to perform an action...but we don't complain about that? Would you like to have a dial wheel on your cell phone too?

Keys are manly? In my experience, pushing the right button has always been a better choice than simple insertion and a lot of twisting...

I do miss the push start button on my 07 altima. Now I have to use the key to start the Z. With push start button, no keys dangling...

And yea, I love my push start. I think that fake knob thing looks really tacky. Why pretend that you have a key... when you really don't? <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.nicoclub.com/forums/Xsmileys/Xgotme.gif" BORDER="0">
I also make sure that the garage is clean enough to comfortable fit the A/C in, but not clear enough to fit his jeep in! I am so smart

My DREAM next advance...while clicking the seat belt the car fires up - no button or key required!

Maybe not safe or practical with today technology, but wow if it tapped into my thought and knew I just wanted to 'get going' THAT would be something!
