Had some spare time so i decided to start checking out some electrical problems, the guy who had the car before had really hacked some stuff together, fuse for interior lights also powers the radio, under dash lights that only come on when the door is open don't turn on at all, cigarette lighter doesn't work, had a few other problems with lights and stuff but got them fixed,

under dash lights:
the drivers side is always on when the battery is hooked up, and the passenger side does not work at all, i already changed the switches in the door jams and that made no difference, changed the fuse, anyone have any ideas?

Cigarette lighter:
no that i smoke, but i do like having it there to charge a phone or run an ipod transmitter every once and a while, this is the one that is in the car and none of the 7 parts cars i have have the green light ring. it does not work but i think that is only due to the alligator clamp wiring harness rigged up for it, is this oem?

and not that it really matters but does anyone know what these plugs are for, one behind the cd deck and another on is behind the drivers kickpanel.

it was done by a very reputable shop. the booth looks like there is about an inch of dust on the ground, its because that booth was put in like 30 years after the body shop was started, and there used to be a mixing bench there, so all the spilled paint over years accumulated on the floor and some of it has chipped off, some hasn't. its just a rough floor,

overall the paint job is amazing and i couldn't be happier, the only tiny problem i have with it is that there is a few fine spider cracks that never got sanded out on the rear bumper but its so minor i couldn't really care less. it should last forever as long as i take care of it, the products used were the best that can be bought, i only had to pay for material and it still cost me allot more than what I have in the rest of the car altogether including original cost of the car.

I'm not gonna say exactly how much it cost me, but products alone were valued at around $1500 retail for primer, paint, clear, and all the activators and reducers. the paint industry has gotten a little out of hand with the introduction of water based paints. If i didn't have the resources or people i do there is no possible way i would have been able to get this done as well as it is, the car would have been painted with a single stage euro-thane. To the average Joe this job would have cost prolly well over 5k. all the jams were also painted.

right now im ordering my wiring for audio, once it comes in the mail i am going to get all the wires in and finish the interior off, im looking at 4 good quality 6.5" speakers for the doors and rear, 2 10s are going behind the rear seats pointing towards the back of the seat, the grey trunk trim pieces are all going to be blacked out. there is also a lot of random tasks like window wipers that need to be done. once the car is 100% street ready im going to have to decide on turboing it or not. i have most of the parts but am not sure if i am going to have time this spring or want to endure horrible fuel economy.
