PS2 or Xbox?

I think they are both fairly equal. However, if you are a die-hard race fan, then PS2 is the only way to go. GT3 makes the PS2 worth buying alone. Graphically, the Xbox may be slightly better...but PS2 has more game support right now. By the time Microsoft gets the game support that PS2 has, PS3 will be out.

Oh, and rumor has it that GT4 will be online.

Same thing happened to my friend's PS2...he spoke to a sony tech on the phone and they said they've had that problem with the PS2's...he could send it in for repair or if out of warranty, take it apart and vacuum the inside of it out (yes..sounds weird). he was out of warranty and vacuumed it and it works again, hasn't had any problems since

He took the cover off the the PS2 and vaccummed all the dust out of it using an attachment/accessory. When you take the cover off you'll see what I'm talking about...very dusty. If you need more info let me know.

I would wait tell after E3 and see what system has the best software coming out. I know sega GT2k2 is getting online play, there is also Midtown madness 3 with online play, and the one from Rockstar, that will also have online play. If i played alot of games i would most likely get both. I bought a PS2 when GT3 came out, and have seens bought 2 other games. both of my friends have Xboxs, so i really dont need to get one. plus the price should be droping by about 50 in the next month or 2 on the Xbox, and maybe PS2. the Xbox also comes with free games.
