PS2 Mod chip HELP!!

Yes there are methods to fixing that.. The easiest is to open the system up and wet the ends of a q - tip and keep them very lightly wet nearly dry. Just lightly clean the lens in circular motions. There are also methods of adjusting laser voltage and pots resistance.. Truthfully, if you are having some problems I would try to clean it , sell it , and go anew.

Yeah, I see...the only game I really even care about is gran turismo. I have the japan version of GT1, US version of GT2 and GT3, the toyota GT4 demo (which I just bought off ebay)

As for the GT1 version I have....I had a first version ps1 that you could do the swap trick already without any type of mod chip. But right now, if I want to check out anything on GT1, I'd have to dig up my ps1 and a copy my copy of tohshindin to swap and play gt1 I bought GT1 before they ever announced it coming to the U.S.

Did you watch the Prius Demo Video all the way to the end??

Btw with my flip top cover all I need is a GameShark , and I can play burnt/ import ps1 games.

Ezcheese , u have got to get the gt3 concept version.. I am working on restoring my collection through a friend in the dirty south, so it may take some time I'll let u know . I didn't check out the prius demo but I've driven the piece of carp.. Also, you could use the swap magic discs ( recommended, with the flip >> di, chi, di ,di, chu D unit.. Hehe

Not yet, I'll keep that in mind. I didn't realize there was a video. I assume you just let it set at the opening screen until a video starts?

Waiting to get my ps2 modded (friend says he'll do it tommorrow for me). Then I'm gonna beat GT4 Prologue. When I'm nearing the completion of Prologue, I'll order GT3 concept. That will be the only version I don't have to fullfill my GT collection

If you have the Toyota GT4 demo it must be the Prius one. On the main selection menu. You can pick to watch it. I haven't played it in a while cuz I'm trying to beat Prologue( but I can't -- some kind of gilch in the game prevents it). I've got to spoil it. The video is like a promotional video for the prius showing some boring features. I skipped though it the first time . the video is about 10 minutes of a japanese male and female driving around in it with a female japanese narrator. Boring , but if you can bear through it coolness happens. Ok the highest model is japan is the touring model. It comes equipped w/ a rear view camera. The power tranfer / navigation display turns into the rear view display when reversing. Get this , the display is also touch screen. So the female lines up the car for a parallel park manever.

Arrgh.. Darn ADD. So car is all lined up , rear camera display is on. The woman touchs the screen and a box appears on the ground directly behind the Prius. She proceeds to move the box in between the two parked cars. When she is done - magic! I thought the box was there to help with parallel parking (guide). Nooo! The car proceeds to parallel park it's self with no driver input!! None my jaw dropped. You got to see it. Why can't we get that kind of cool stuff.

Btw the pruis does not suck. I got to drive the older model. It is like driving a super fast golf cart. I also took it up to 100 mph (limited) bet you never thought that could happen. At 55 mpg (a/c off) it is not the suck.
