Pros and Cons on a 2000 Q45

I am looking at a 2000 Q45 with 86,000 on the clock. Could you give me some pros and cons on the 2000 model year. I had a 94 and loved it! I am not familiar with the 2000. Do you think I would be better to buy a 2002 when I can afford it? Thanks for help.

Pros on 2000:

-Inexpensive used-one of the best looking pre 2k2's due to some updates-Has Xenons unlike the pre 99 years-not as spendy as other years in maintenance

Cons vs 2k2:-2k2 will look like a new/newer car for a long time-Even better headlights on 2k2-2k2's interior much more modern-2k2 much more power

I would add that the VH41DE and RE4R03A are proven durability.

The VK45DE and the 5 speed automatic are still being proven. For one thing, I bet most F50 never had a transmission flush.

Look at the history and get the best one. If you want fast or amenities, the F50 is faster and has more gee gaws.

I would think if you could get that car for closer to 12k it would be a great 3-5 year ride. I like the 2000 interior and with a spoiler on the rear it is nice.

While the newer Q has more power and much more fancy interior, the price is way more and for me I do not like the body style as much, but that is just me. The 2002 had issues so to get into a 2003 you're into the 30's immediately.

This car would be close to bullet-proof and I know in my 97' people still say "what is that" and while we always take crap that we're slow, I always have people that ride with me say "wow, major V8" when I jump on it.

Yeah, I was driving my wife's 2K the other day and I am always amazed how fast it scoots. While it is a tad slower than a G50, it seems to rev willingly and quickly.
