My carbon fiber hood almost sits like that naturally. I always hated the crappy fit until I realized I was cool without even knowing it. :D

To all that think I am a ricer:

Hey, read my first post. Then go to the 5th grade (sounds like some of you didn't get that far) and learn about a wonderful revolution in English...SARCASM.

I was kidding about the looks thing. I just thought it would be funny to post the question that way. I am going to Napa today, so I will pick up some washers and give it a shot.

Hey SolS13...how many did you use?

I think i had like 10-20 washers. Just buy a bunch. Its kinda a pain in the butt to get the washers on there, but you'll get it eventually. You'll be ricing around town with your new hood mod in no time flat!. I got a solid chunk of iron under my hood thats stays a pretty constant 1000+ degrees F and some of that heat definitly escapes out of the rear of the hood.

Ricer! J/P a ricer is just what your car looks like its the mentality as well so yes you could be considered one by some. But who cares Im doin this to my car. I just find it funny when I run with lazy eyes ppl thought my headlights were broke, now ppl will think my hoods screwed up too haha.

Don't you need longer bolts since ur putting the washers there? you said about 20 washers total SloS13? You could do this with the stock bolts?
