Infant motality rates are much higher in black women. Just call them all Kenyans and US would have much better looking health and mortality rates.

There were people in one of the other threads moaning about Obama's healthcare plan...well I like the current one...kill the babies so we dont have as many children

Maybe you should look at what they cost us now and what making them legal citizens will do from that perspective as well.

Stop shedding tears, the world is not fair. Let them press to fix their own problems in Mexico

And so is our form of government. Actually our form of government pre-dates the medieval times. Guilty by association is still very well in place in law. There is no point made in your statement.

Apparently he missed that part of Con Law. Even Obamalamadingdong would tell you that hanging out with felons can expose you to liability in certain instances.

So from #7 there Canada, @ 81.53 to the US in slot #47 @ 78.14. SO that's a total of 3.39 years. Wow, I should move to Canada....

Your URL is broken, but aside form that 5 out of 1000 is .5%. That's sooo horrible. We better get on that.

Oh life expectancy tables, how I adore ye. Life expectancy tables say something in general, but to nitpick is pointless as they are recomputed annually and those figures may be affected by various things going on in each country that necessarily aren't going on in other countries.

I'd be willing to bet that there is a definite correlation between life expectancy and the number of McDonald's in a country. Seriously though, diet plays a major part in it.

Infant morality, even if it is .5% is 2 1/2 times other countries, and that's not acceptable.

Lol, I don't know about McDonalds. That graph may be U shaped or maybe bimodal. The biggest contributers to life tables are diet, how much food is available, infant death rates, and medical capabilities and diseases. When you're talking hundredths and tenths of a percent, there really is no major difference in these. Those differences may come due to other circumstances such as natural disasters, war, etc.

What is the scope on this data? How many years are included in the average? Does it include EVERY birth in the country? How many were unavoidable? Are these even real statistics? Before we go off on an emotion fueled quest to save teh babies we should do more research.

So, when we don't like the data we should just assume it's faulty? We should assume that unless we get 20 more years of 2 1/2 times the death rate we can chalk up to errors in the data or even worse, false results.? Then when they prove it, we'll just deny it right?

When there is no proof of where ti came from, no reputable source, and no explanation of the study, YES. It has nothing to do with liking it or not. I don't like the idea of ANY child dying, but if you live in the real world, you realize that people die, and often there is nothing we can do about it.
rn79870 wrote:We should assume that unless we get 20 more years of 2 1/2 times the death rate we can chalk up to errors in the data or even worse, false results.?
A larger survey yields more accurate results. There could be an anomaly in the year / month / DAY this was put together. We don't know. Hell it could be WORSE than the study says. All I'm asking for is more data.
rn79870 wrote:Then when they prove it, we'll just deny it right?
Then IF we prove it, we can act on it.

LOL, that's the first thing I thought, too. How many people in the US die of complications from overeating, like heart disease and diabetes?

We have a higher mortality rate because we're all so overfed!

More like under worked. We don't do enough physical activity. You can eat at McDonald's every day and be in shape if you burn the calories off. It's a lot easier to blame McDonald's for our fat asses instead of our lazy *** selves.

You know, for all the arguing you did about "who wrote this opinion", you can't even give us a working link to what you want us to believe are accurate statistics.
