Is in not enough that people can dream this kind of abomintation up? Do they really have to go out into the world and make it a reality? I dunno, maybe I'm just over reacting, at least they stayed away from vinyl and stickers...what does anyone else think?

not really that bad, I like yellow. I don't like the roof scoop though, other than that it looks good.

Yet another stock nazi. Is this what 240gen has turn into these days...

I'm afraid so. And after seeing the things that some people have done to their 240's, Im now a big supporter of the stock look. Maybe it's that Im not a fan of yellow, or maybe the roof scoop elicits my repressed F&F memories, or maybe its the fact that it looks almost identical to a gaudy neon orange s13 that I see driving around town. Whatever the reason, I have to say that I just plain dont like it.

I must say, it's not my favorite car; but it could be modified to look ok.

Plus, to each his own.I mean, if everyone liked the same exact thing, life would be really boring, and laughing at our differences wouldn't exist!

As for me; i'm a fan of the new technology with a subtle, clean, slightly vintage look!I've had plenty of people on this board bash my first 240sx, but I liked it and that's all that matters!

I'm not a stock nazi. I meant that "stock" looks better than that. I coul've said that a conservative and tasteful body kit would be better suited than stock or that for that matter.

And what do you mean that the 240gen has turn into stock nazis?

As far as I remember most 240 owners (original or 1st ones) were always performance oriented and did not care for gaudy body kits like the one shown. If anything, the 240sx crowd has turned into ricers (sad to say) like the one above.

I mean, being an s13 owner you already have a drag coefficient of .300 and a surface frontal area of 19.59 ft sq. This translates into an aerodynamic drag of about 5.88. Which no porsche or lambourghini I know of can match. I bet the s14 has higher numbers, yet people are obsessed with adding huge body kits which are not even aerodynamicly tested and will only increase frontal area and the drag coefficient.

Like someone else said....you already have a "body kit" which took years and millions of dollars in R&D, so why screw it up?

Of course if you are putting enough power down, the above statement becomes kinda pointless, but even then, choosing a kit, as close to your stock appearance as possible is the best choice.

I just wanted to say something maybe i am wrong maybe i am not. i think that people who liked 240's or silvias b4 they were popolar , wanted them cuz they had potential of gaining more power or looked nicer and different form the other less expensive sport oriented cars. not people who just jumped on the band wagon they just want to put a funky body kit and paint it and leave all the internals stock , which is pretty sad cuz the car needs to be made to perform. even though i 've been a 240 owner for less than a year i knew since 97 that i wanted to buy a zenki s14. so to me it is important to have a fast 240 . not a yellow one with almost crazy body kit . so again i believe the 240 gen is not stock nazies , they are more power nazies cuz the car looks good coming out of the factory and don't need much mods body wise unless you are going with big power and need a wide body or something:ylsuper

Doesn't it seem that every time you try to accept the car for what it is (someones dream, albeit a very twisted one) you immediatly notice something else on the car that bugs you? Isn't that weird...

omfg i was just reading some of the entries... and .... it's so sad... how could the world be so cruel?

"Shouting and yelling carried over from the main gate of Wilson Train Station. I saw that a blonde woman was being attacked by the crowd, even though she defended herself in Czech and without any accent. In a trice she was surrounded, the clothes were torn off her body, and already she lay naked and covered in blood on the pavement, where she was beaten further. At that point a heavy beer wagon drove past, and in a great commotion the crowd unhitched the horses. One was tied to each leg of the prostrated woman and then urged in opposite directions. The body was torn apart; the woman screamed horribly before she died."

^ this is pretty bad.... but there is so much worse on there =/

This site is published by the Sudeten german survivors Group.

Because they were not the "correct" nationality for victims of actrocities and the butchers were "allies" you dont hear about any of this, even in some of the most thourough US history books.

It simply doesnt enter the horizon of our "historians".

Many of these things happend for years (1945-1950) until the surviving victims were allowed to flee Czechslovakia to what was left of germany. All along, while only 120 miles west, the "Nuremburg Trials" were held...

The whole car is not too bade. Just take out the hood scoop, front end kit, and the spoiler, them you'll just have a stock 14. Although, the paint may need to go. But is this car really ricer? I mean, in Japan, they're making SILVIA trucks. They have the most outrageous bodykits and paint jobs. They even have a Silvia truck (yes a s13 truck that drifts)!!! I've seen worse cars in Japan than that one...

The only reason they do that crazy stuff over there is to be different from eveyone else. Would you call them ricers? I wouldn't. It's just my taste that is different.

The other day, I was at Jack-in-the-box and I see this "ricer" guy with altezza tailights and a crappy exhaust - but when he shifted into second, he had a turbo. Now is this guy ricer also? or a sleeper?

All in all it's just taste. So don't get mad when kids are trying to be like the Fast and the Furious. It's just taste.

Why can't we get mad at kids trying to be like fast and the furious? You seem to be getting mad at us for just bein judgemental....Sure some may like it, but that doesn't mean we have to and can't comment on it.....

on a 2nd note, the body kit kinda look like the MVP car from the sponsors on the left....

Nah man...I think my drag coeffecient is WAY higher than that;) Especially the way my car looks right now.

And I wasn't saying that 240gen has turned into a bunch of stock nazi's (I for one prefer the stock look myself), I'm trying to say each to their own. I see gaudy looking S13's every day, and though it pisses me off to no end that they'd deface an already awesome looking car, theres nothing I can do about it, so why bother commenting on it.

(Although yelling ricer out of my window often gets their attention)

I used to enjoy the "Point&Laugh" technique. Then I got my new beater. All that stopped for lack of, shall we say, a leg to stand on.
