roof scoop functional?....then the guy is a dumbass for not buying an a/c instead of going through all the custom job to get that up there.
By the way, hood scoops (made popular by the impreza wrx in rally), are used in rally as a cooling alternative for both the driver, and the navigator. This is because, as a rally car, you want the best power to weight ratio, and that means no a/c. In other words, if you are sticking one of those up there and not punching a hole through your roof, then they are nothing but adding drag to your aerodynamics. In rally, although it does add coefficient of drag, it's a good compromise to having the windows open (windows open will really increase drag and decrease structural integrity in case of a rollover.
