Exactly my point. I'm probably going to do a minor performance build on my 26 to start with, yet it is taking forever and will cost so much money! It takes time, money and parts. Right now I'm working on the money part of it so I can actually afford the project!

Some of the guys on here just don't like hearing someone write it off as simple when there really is a ton of time, money, research and effort involved.
One of the reasons I've researched so much, and I'm sure many others here or elsewhere have, is that there is a very limited amount of first hand experience most of us in the US can have with RB's before actually attempting one of these projects. Because of this I (and I'm sure others) research the heck out of everything I can think of, in an effort to learn as much as possible about the engine, it's problems, etc. Research doesn't beat experience. However, if you browse all the boards long enough (most notably all the Skyline boards of course), you can begin to decipher at least some of the facts from the bs, and end up learning quite a bit for not having much/any experience with them.
