yeah, you have to keep in mind - the engine in it's stock form is programmed to have a recirculating valve, so through shifts the ECU still sends fuel signal to the injectors, whether or not you're recirculating the air or not. When working with a 87 supra (yay 7M!!), we had the same reoccuring problem. Problem is, my friend was too much of a fan boi to listen, and wanted the "psshht" sound. So if he is in a rolling stop he just taps the throttle after pushing the clutch in.

I guarantee that is your problem as it is with most all cars with atmospheric blow off valves.

Hell, I rigged up a 300ZX recirculating valve and I haven't had any problems. Sometimes a little blow back, but what can 9 psi of flutter really hurt?

There are claims that Nissan ECUs eventually 'learn' (for lack of a better word) and will adjust to the atmospheric BOV and no longer stall out...

Can you link me to a thread about it "learning" or is it just what you have heard? I was thinking if I reset the ECU (unplugged the battery) and then ran it vigorously it would settle in with some good settings that accommodated the BOV. Dont know if thats valid.
