Don't get cheap tires unless you're going to immediately tear them up.

ROAD NOISE SUCKS. It gets really annoying after a while. Plus, they don't wear as well. If I was going to get tires just for dd, I'd rather have a lightly used set.

Btw, where did you get your sound deadner?

You should date my younger sister, her current bf had a dead battery and thought it was his clutch, lol. Just kidding but seriously great build for anyone especially a younger dude. Keep up the good work!

well i dont quite know what you mean by where so ill just say everything. i got it at Terrace Auto in lombard illinois. its nason paint. primer, base coat (toyota super white) and clear. all the paint cost me about 500. gallon of primer and quart of activator, gallon and 2 quarts of super white, pint of activator w/ gallon of reducer. and a gallon of clear and a quart of activator for that. very affordable paint o yea and along with a mask, mixing cups, stirrers, strainers, and cleaner

it def did make a difference. not a HUGE difference. but noticible. going back i dont think i would have done it just because i could have tires right now. but its nice to know its done and hopefully ill never have to rip apart the interior like that again. i do think dynamat wouldve been better. but its way too expensive. what i paid for over 120 square feet of mat and at least 50 square feet of ensolite i wouldve gotten 32 square feet of dynamat.

ok maybe you took that the wrong way or maybe i took yours the wrong way. im not angry at all. i was just stating that tirerack had them for 100 less. thats all. if i got used tires would you still be able to install them for free or only if i bought a set from discount tire?

well i think its time for a little update. i got some used azenis's and got them mounted on my p45r's. the tires are 225/45/17. my rotas are 9 inches wide so its a bit of a stretch. not much though. i really needed it though. theyre hella flush. maybe i little to much. i still needed to clean up the brakes too though so i got started on that. at first i wanted them like the mu brakes greenish blue. but it would look horrible with the red lip. so i just went with the overplayed red. i took the calipers and drums off, grinding them with a wire brush tip on a grinder and then painted them with a brush. the drums i painted black where the pad doesnt hit to hopefully stop the rust from coming back. let me know what you think. i wasnt to fond of the idea but i figured id give it a try. i only painted one to see how it would look.this is the brake setup beforeafter

sorry for the bad pictures. right now my car has a major oil leak so i cant move it. hopefully we'll get to that soon so i can take some nice pics outside

Hey man, nice build!, Kinda jealous myself actually, since I don't have a garage to work in haha.

Anyways, I have a set of used KTS coilovers on my car right now that I'm actually trying to sell because I'm poor and need to sell my car to feed my family of 15... haha anyways, but yeah if you're interested let me know.

NICE build I'm jealous got my 240 @ the age of 20....soo late in the game haha. I'm glad you got another shift boot and fixed/replaced your glovebox that white interior was nasty. I like the cluster, love the wheels. I know with coilovers and a tad bit of camber those will sit perfectly.

KTS coils can be bought through splparts.com They are very comparable to Stance, but Stance can go a bit lower. (I ordered Stance for like $20 more then KTS shipped)

Keep us updated, oh brakes look good
